I'm sorry. I didn't mean knowing a variety was bad. I just meant that you could do better at one thing if you focus on that one thing rather than across a bunch.
I bet you're good at all the things you do. I KNOW you're great at art. Your cooking expertise amazes me. And how often you do it too.
I was just trying to say that if you focus on one thing, you would be so superawesomeincredibleymagnicentlywouderous at that one thing. So if there was something you were THAT passionate about, you could achieve even further than you have already in that field. If you feel doing many things is important to you, then go for it. Don't let me or anyone else tell you otherwise.

I have a habit of saying phrases I hear like "a jack of all trades is master of none," but I don't always mean what they say. I've seen PLENTY of jack of all trades that kick a** at everything. Some people are just better than others at mastering things. You happen to be one of those people who excels at everything they do.
Also, I noticed you said you felt the need to do that to fit in. You don't NEED to do anything for ANYONE but yourself. Your family will love you regardless. :3
Although since you're doing so AMAZINGLY they'd love you even if you weren't family. >w<
