The four stood side-by-side, their wands at the ready, of course. All of them with a determined look on their faces. The apparition had taken them to a somewhat familiar area. They were in a fair-sized field, to one side, a lake… The other side had forests. Straight ahead? A large castle. It was hard to say what might happen when they get closer, but for now, it seemed… quiet. Almost too quiet.
They started up the hill together, but as they drew closer, they heard a voice calling out; "Professor Matthews!" Alex's head turned a bit to see a long-haired male running toward them, a shimmering blue wand in his hand. "Alex, it's good to have you back… And with reinforcements I see!" "Dimitrius… What's going on?" The vampire went silent a moment and just looked at the four, between all of them. He hadn't expected anyone different appearing there along side Alex, of course. It was just… Odd seeing them all together, after all this time. After what had happened; it was especially surprising to see Tomas in one piece, and Aiden there as well; but of course, they weren't the only non-pureblooded left alive or free. "Come along with me. I'll tell you along the way. We need to get to the Stone Courtyard." The four younger wizards and witch nodded as they began following behind Dimitrius. They remained fairly quiet as they went, and ducked under windows as Dimitrius had instructed them to do. They went around the outside of the castle walls, and eventually came to one of the bridges. He looked around cautiously and then motioned for them to follow. "We need to get there, so we may speak with Alice-- Er. Headmistress Leon." They nodded, "The Dark Ones… That's what they're calling themselves… They've been at our front door all day; We'll be taking the long way 'round due to that… Through the Transfigurations Courtyard and through the West wing and down from the clock tower." "The Dark Ones…" Alexus asked softly, "They came to Hogwarts?" "I'd have thought you would know all about this, Miss. Malfoy. I wonder… I do believe your knowledge may be of use to us now." Alexus had no objections, but she did get some odd looks from Alex, Aiden and Tomas alike. She did have information about them… But it wasn't much. Hopefully she wouldn't seem completely useless when she got to the Stone Courtyard with the others, to meet with Alice. She already felt a little useless, since she, from the ministry's department of Magic Cooperation, wasn't able to prevent something like this from happening in the first place. She mentally cursed and continued on silently. "Lexi… What's he talking about..?" She didn't give Aiden a response, however. She just kept running along their path, toward their destination.

When they reached the courtyard, they stood up proper, and stopped sneaking. However, the Headmistress ushered them back inside quickly. "The Great Hall. Go. Now." they had no objections. The five went into the Great Hall, across from the main entrance to the court yard and noted the amount of students in there. All with their wands out, frowns on their faces; a few upon the house tables being treated for their wounds or worse; being covered and those around them, starting to cry for the loss… It was a horrible sight. And now, those five stood before them, Alice right behind, bringing the doors closed with a spell. "I apologize for rushing you here. But It seems to be the only place we have where we might speak safely." the four looked around as Dimitrius parted from their side to help upkeep the barriers on the single room. "Is this… All who's left?" Tomas asked, his eyes scanning the room. Most of the students were pure bloods, those on the table weren't. Though there were still quite a few halfblooded and muggleborns who were treating the others, or helping with the warding spells. "Luckily, no. There are others in the halls, who act as scouts. All are capable students, of course, and those in larger groups are accompanied by other professors." It was then that Alice would feel a hand on her shoulder. Her eyes shifted to notice Alexus, smiling in her direction. "Why…?" "We're here now. We're going to help, Alice. Some… Some terrible things have happened recently, but… I know that together, we can all make things right, together."
"Thank you, Alexus." She turned more toward the other woman, and former Slytherin then, and smiled herself, faintly. "What is it… That you can tell us about these people? Who are they lead by? Wher-" "I'm… not sure who leads them, but I have a good idea. I don't want to give details I don't know are accurate, however…" Alexus turned, and walked at a casual pace, through the great hall, holding her wand to her own throat a moment, a small glow, emitting from the end. As it dimmed, she spoke; "All of you… I know that we have all lost something very dear to us. Be it a home… A family… A friend…" her eyes looked around, as the students around her started quieting their voices. "We've all lost… Many things, I can tell just looking at you all. But we can not lose hope. The Dark Ones must be stopped, and then… once all of this is over, we can have our world, and our lives back." Aiden took her side, Alex and Tomas stepped up behind them, all of them, casting Sonorus as Alexus had. "We don't have a plan." "We don't know if we can even help in the end…" "But sure as Hell, we can try."
