It had been a full day… Things had settled down considerably, but had classes started again? Goodness no. It'd only been one day; and that's part of why Lord Dimitrius Alexander James Turner himself, had made it a point to visit the ministry. The click of his cane echoed through the blank halls of the Ministry; black walls with pure white lighting. 'How dull~' was all he could think as he made his way toward the Minister's office. Knocking once he heard a small 'enter' from the other side of the door, and he made his way in without a second thought.
The tall male made his way over to her desk and took his seat quietly, reaching for a cup that had been placed out for him and filled with blood and tea. He didn't have a taste for tea much these days, however he drank it all the same. Picking up the fragile porcelain between his gloved fingers and sipped slowly. "So… Professor Turner, are you going to tell me why you've come, or will you continue to just sit there drinking all my tea..?" her cup rose as well, as she took a small sip, herself. Her eyes never left Dimitrius', ever since he had entered the room. And odd little smirk on her lips, one fang poking out over her bottom lip as she blinked and her smirk grew farther, watching him. "Or… Is this a guessing game?" Dimitrius lowered his cup then, letting his cerulean eyes meet with hers and a smirk of his own came across his face. "I do believe you know why I've come here, Miss Renata." He stated, his eyes narrowing slightly on her. "You know what has been going on, and I know you have… You always have." "Alright Mister Turner. What is it you need my help with, exactly? Disposing of all the poor mutilated corpses in my castle..?" Her eyes lingered on his still, though she still noticed his hands tense slightly. "Miss Ilse, would you be so kind as to get our guest some more tea..?" "Of course, Mistress." Now the fun would begin for the younger of the vampires. Her lavender-blue hair was left slightly in front of her face as Dacianna stepped forward from her place. Dimitrius hadn't even noticed her there, it seemed, because when she stepped forward, he seemed to change completely. His eyes looked over to her, and he looked down to his cup… it was empty. He hand't noticed until now. He placed it on Karin's desk and Dacianna came over, and poured more tea into the cup, leaving enough room for the few spoons of blood she added afterwards, mixed, and left on the desk for him with a small ting of the spoon on the porcelain. "Now… Where were we? Ah yes. The dying students… How is Miss Leon fairing? Well, I hope… Wouldn't want her to give up now, would we? Those poor students." "Headmistress Leon is doing incredibly well in her position. There are many people helping her- "But not you…" "I do what I can." "From the Ministry of Magick? Professor, you're an entire country away from the school. How could you possibly?" He took a deep breath then, picking up the small tea cup and sipping at the warm tea and blood mixture inside. Tensing once more, obviously. "We need reinforcements." "Consider it done." He gave her a look then that questioned her motives… She'd never given him something so easily before. "What are you playing at?" "What do you mean?" she asked simply, taking another sip, before placing her own cup down, leaning forward slightly with her finger tips pressed together in front of her lips, elbows propping her up against the desk. "Lives are on the line here! If you think this is some sick joke, then you're gravely mistaken. We need wizards and witches that can help us against the Dark Ones' forces, and you-" "Come now, Professor Turner… I said that you can consider it done. No need to get your knickers in a knot."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back at the school was a different story. There were no real meetings going on. Small groups discussing what might happen, but no meetings… There was a group that seemed to have a bit more going on, however… At the head table, were Alice, Alexus and Adena all speaking to one another…
"So what do you think is going to happen..?" "Dimitrius left a little while ago to speak with Karin, but I'm not sure how well that is going to go for him. Hopefully he'll be able to get Auror reinforcements for us. If not-" "If nae, t'en ye ken we'll all jus'ave tae do it ourselves, eh? Can't be tae hard! Whit with me baby n' all." "Your baby… Oh Cynder. Right?' "Ye, I told 'im he could 'ave a snack but ye ken it was all o're by tae time we get 'ere." "Cynder or not, we're still going to need help. The Dark ones took Amalia and Ignacius from us. I won't let them take you from me- us, too." Adena showed a small smile then, and nudged Alice rather hard. "Ah, see~? I ken ye cared a lot fer me! I jus' didnae ken 'ow much~ Ye said fer ye! Hahaha~" "We're best friends aren't we?" "All'o us are." "That's right. None of us want anything to happen to each other. But if they see Cynder, you know that that dragon will be their first target. That's why they took down Ignacius and Amalia the way they did." Alexus' tone showed worry for Adena. It wasn't often that she would show such concern, but desperate times called for desperate measures… right? "I don't want either of you doing anything reckless, is all…" "Awwwwe! Tae Malfoy cares tae!! HEAR T'AT E'RYONE?! MALFOY CARES!!" her voice echoed through the great hall. It managed to get a few laughs from people who knew Alexus, but others simply went about their business after they realized that the yelling wasn't for anything important, from Adena. "Alright, alright, calm down. We can't have everyone knowing that, now can we?" she replied, a small smile before she grinned and laughed a little at the red-head herself. "Ahhh!!! T'at smile! T'AT SMILE! After all these years I've still nae gott'n use tae t'at! Do it more!" Alexus instantly frowned a moment, giving Adena a rather serious look before all three of them burst into laughter.
The laughter ceased fairly quickly, however… When the sound of gasps came from the centre of the Great Hall. The three quickly turned their attention there, and made their way over. "Jocelin!" Alice's steps were hastened over to the side of Jocelin and who'd brought her there. She looked to the blonde male and then back to Joce. "Is she alright..?" "She'll be fine… I gave her an antidote, and managed to get to her just in time. She just needs to rest…" "William LeBeau!" Came another voice from a group of males speaking as the trio had been at the head table. "Aiden Wright!" William stood from his place on the floor where he had gently laid Jocelin, and Alice was now looking over her. "What happened here…?" "Don't worry. She'll be fine. She was poisoned by very strong venom." "Basilisk Venom… Diomedes?" Alice's emerald gaze moved from Jocelin's shoulder up to the males then, as she stood. "Mexxia bit her… Didn't he?! Tell me what happened! If he's attacking even her, then obviously he's not going to be on our side! I need to know NOW!" The entire Great Hall went silent as the word 'now' echoed through it's cathedral-like structure. William turned from Aiden to face Alice and his smile faded. Running a hand through his hair he let out a sigh. "I got there a little too late… I came up just in time to see Mexxia and a much smaller figure apparating away from the shore-line. They tried to escape from France, I assume, through the water so that whoever it was Mexxia left with, couldn't trace their magick and follow them… Their goal, I assume, was here, to not only seek shelter, but help out. I'm sure." "Wait… William… Where's Jacqueline?" "I can only hope she is alive. She said she had business to take care of then ran off… When I had made it to their home in Lorient, France… Their parents were killed, and neither of the twins were to be seen. I heard a commotion in the distance… screaming… I recognized the voice so I quickly made my way over, but the screaming silenced before I got there. When I arrived Jocelin was bleeding heavily, oozing Basilisk venom, and Mexxia Diomedes and the other figure were leaving…" Alice's eyes looked back down to Jocelin, laying lifeless on the floor and then back to William before turning and walking off a small ways, back toward where she, Alexus and Adena had been talking moments ago, and folded her arms, facing away from the others in the room. "I'm sure Jacki is fine, as well… Joce will get better… And we'll get Mexxia back on our side… right?" "Here's hoping, Lexi."
'Where the Hell is Turner.......?'
