Instead of shirking at a shadow, I look to its caster. Before, the mere shadow of you would send me trembling to my knees; but now I see the man. Without depth, you intimidate; but with it, your power disintegrates. You are a man - a persuasive one, albeit - but a man nonetheless. And for your ruthless ambition, all the more.

The hair that spiked like a wild wolf's was unruly hair from a night filled with conspiracies and ruses
The girth of his person was simply bundles to keep him warm
And though his gait was sure and steady - it was only to save his ankle worn

*Though darkness grips us in fear, light will reinforce truth
And in that truth, may a man find courage

*You are a feeble man in all your power
Belittling powerful men without

*The silhouette may suggest to the assuming
But the portrait will arrest those perusing
