Yesterday was very disheartening.
The tournament did not go well for me or either of my Smash Brothers, let alone he massive mistakes I made in my play still are fresh in my mind; it's making me question my abilities.
The record was 1/2, one win and two losses; the single win coming from my match against my best friend.
Later that day, I began Skyping with him and we spoke about our stories among other things of the creative nature. Our conversation dulled and we remained on Skype together but I eventually logged on to Gaia and headed to Rally where I initially didn't plan on getting into intense conversation until I met a person named Shannon.
Shannon is brilliant, quite honestly the realest person I've spoken to in a while and overall a really interesting person.
I also met Joseph, somewhat of an enigma but also easily mistaken for a comedian from how entertaining his jokes are.
Both Shannon and Joesph brightened my somewhat lackluster day and I'm glad I met them when I did.
