So what happened this week? Kaleb had his first day of school, and also missed his first day of school, this week. He stayed home from school thanks to a nasty cough, yesterday. My mom asked him on the first day, if he missed anyone. he said "Paw-Paw." My mom asked him if he missed anyone else. He looked down, thinking about it, then said, "No." rofl Later on, we heard from my aunt, who works in the office, that the janitor had a little boy named Kaleb come up to him and tell him that 'All he wanted was his Paw-Paw.'
Monday was my mom's birthday. There was no real celebration, we ended up in the emergency room. It wasn't very serious, but she fell a few weeks ago on the steps, and had some scrapes on her hip that were really red and leaky. We just wanted to be sure about it since she's diabetic, so we spent from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the ER. You see all kinds of people there.
My birthday was even less anti-climactic, but we did have ice cream and cake. It doesn't feel like I'm any older, but I still feel like I should be doing something more important, since I'm this old. And, about two weeks ago, my parents bought a new computer because I nagged at them to, so I almost feel like it was a birthday present. Almost. Maybe we'll do something to make up for it next week.
