That I have not been very vocal about the goings on in my life. Lately. Back in November, my mom took a fall at the hair dresser's, and had some really terrible bouts of pain and inability to support her weight, causing more falls. She is already diabetic, and even before that, was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, which took her ability to walk, for a time.
The past winter has been difficult at times, with her being stuck at home a majority of the time while being unable to make the trip to bathroom by herself. Even getting on a bedside toilet was difficult for her, she'd have to wake up my dad for his help. There were nights I would give her her medicine, and stay to rub her legs, because she was in so much pain. We prayed, separately and together, a lot.
She's been improving, January was the last month we were really cooped up in the house. She even came from her room to the front room with her roller walker on her own, a few weeks ago. She still is mostly pushed in a wheelchair, but is able to support her own weight better. I'm gonna keep on praying, that she continues to heal and regain her independence, even if that's usually when she drives me crazy.
Also, she can still out-shop anyone I know.
