Looking the Part
Many who look at the media,
the magazines,
the movies,
the adult material,
the images,
expect beautiful and young ladies.
Porcelain, unblemished skin.
Flawless, flowing, and well-kept hair.
Beautiful sparkles in their irises as well as their smiles.
And, there is me.
I am perfectly imperfect.
A female full of defect.
A handful of people made sure to put that out.
Give me beauty "remedies."
Yet, I will never be good enough.
Why would I say that?
Because "they" said so.
My opinion is invalid.
You do not go searching and expecting someone as "unattractive" as I.
By my culture's standard,
I hardly made a scratch to the surface.
Everyone else has their purpose.
What is yours?
You cannot obtain a man that will ever love you.
No man would even want you just to screw.
I am just a mistake that cannot be fixed.
My blotches are "grotesque."
My voice is "obnoxious."
No matter how many beauty "remedies" I or they force down my throat.
Countless small jars or bowls of boiled expensive nests made of swallow saliva.
Bowl after bowl of cooked fins of sharks or unidentified parts of deer...soups.
The list just goes on.
What's the point when...
I will just be a "mistake" to blanket over?
A failure of my race.
Just because of the unappealing "curse" on my body and face.
