To “bae” or not to “bae”? My answer is... not.
Its been popular for a while now, but did you know...
“The word "bae," which is usually used to describe someone who comes "before anyone else," has a very different meaning in Danish. It means poop. To add insult to injury, it means "bye" in Icelandic.”
This makes me laugh. I’ve always disliked the word bae, when used as a label for a person’s significant other. It is much too commonly used, in my opinion. Why not just say “baby”?
To each his or her own, of course. For myself, I prefer something more personal.
