The Quarantimes started on March 15 over here. I'm actually doing pretty well.
My husband is furloughed so I'm grateful to be able to work fulltime Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5 (well...closer to 4 now that I'm home... >.> ) My company said we're remote until at least September.
We weren't able to find flour or yeast for over 2 months so we ordered 100lbs of flour and a brick of yeast from a restaurant supply company. The partner has been making lots of bread, pizza dough, and bagels. I've made lots of cookies and cakes. I like trying different recipes based on what we have on-hand. We're also going to brew a beer this weekend.
I've had more time to work on our garden this year! I've started cucumbers, bell peppers, hot peppers, brussel sprouts (will probably die...wrong season oops!), basil, thyme, cliantro, and dill. We already have lettuce, rosemary, mint, and tomatoes growing outside.I live in a city so we're working with a small raised bed and some pots/buckets. An urban oasis. I also have a mosaic project I'd like to do out there.
I have so many arts and crafts projects stashed away that I finally have time to work through. I'm currently working on a crocheted blanket and a knit hat. I'm filling my sketchbooks with cool collages and doodles. We're also working on a puzzle together for when we watch stuff on Zoom together.
