I always ache to channel my spirit down my arms through my finger tips right into the computer into words. I ache to imagine and create. I feel so full inside I could burst, whether it be happiness or sadness. Yet I feel stunted. I cannot seem to create. Feeling blocked while feeling so full is a b***h. I feel something deep inside me I just want to let out onto paper, or a screen. It feels like a need. But this is block is big. What was once a imagination comparable to niagra falls is now an almost dry little creek, drained from years of trauma, working, and excessive writing and reading in college. After all that my brain has never fully felt the same.

I hope to find my way into the writing community onto Gaia, in both the forums and the contests. I want to fill this journal with many more fictional stories as well as non fictional stories and blogs. I would like to develop an active reader base, but I am unsure if people actually subscribe to journals anymore. Remember in the myspace days, when journals across the web and different sites were considered a exciting way to share and express yourself, and people actually read them? I miss those times. And seeing that our society is moving away from intellectual and imaginative thinking, true self expression without narcissist intent has greatly waned in recent years.

May society get through its intellectual and creative blocks as a whole, and may I get past this writers block in hope of my imagination flowing like a river again like it did when I was young.
