A girl in her early teens rolled over sleepilly on her couchbed, snoring lightly and streaching in her slumber. the time is 5:59 am, june sixteenth, two thousand six. the clock struck six and her blaring alarm goes off. she groaned and rolled
over, pulling her illow over her head and sqweezing her eyes shut in annoyance. finnally she sat up in all her ruffled glory, crawled over to the alarm (which was located at the other side of the room) and flipped it off. the alarm immidiatly ceiced it's ahreiking and she stood up groggily, almost looing her ballance, but leaning on the nearbuy desk for stability, holding her head.
within a few mintes, she was seated at the computer desk, tapping away at the keyboard in nothing but her pajama shirt and black spongebob underwear.
She replied to a few private messages that had piled up over the night, concerning avi art she was slated to do after school. She yawned, cracked her neck, back, knuckles,ankles, and nearly every other bone in her body before slumping back in her chair and continuing to tye. it is was now 7:00. time for her to get dressed. In the bathroom as she removed her shirt and slipped on a bra and a school shirt, she though of how an hour could pass by so quickly and how she had forgotten to turn to computer off. She finished applying the neccecary accessories ladies need to get past the day, and pulled her red and grey sweatjacket over herself and left for the garage with laundry in hand.
She clicked off the computer and walked into her and her mothers room, peeking in and saying, "goin' to school. abbott's not awake." Roxanne (her mom) looked up. "then ******** wake him up! im too sick to do it.." she said, flopping back down and smashing her face in the pillow. Norma groaned and slammed the door behind her, creaking open the door to her brother's room and slipping in quietly. she stood aside his beed for a few seconds, before nudging him. nothing happened. she nudged him again, this time with more force, but again nothing happened. Norma sighed and sat down ontop of him, shaking his shoulders and yelling, "WAKE UP!!!!!" but the only result was a shocking punch in the stomach and a push onto the hard wood floor. She limped out of his room. "screw that." she said quietly, leaving for school on her bike with backpack in hand.
She was only a few seconds late that day. scholl went by quickly and soon it was lunch. when she remembered she had forgotten her lunch. it was no problem for her. it wasnt the first time she had done it, but it was a pain in the neck. she sat down beside the reble figurene where her group normally sat. this summer it was fairly small, consisting of two boys and five girls. antonio(one of the boys) was acting strange that day. e avoided her glance and didnt talk much, which made her worry. before she could ask him what the problem was, the bell had rang and everyone was on the way to their class.
The rest of the day went smoothly, she didnt talk much eather and had a killer headache. at the end of the day she walkedacross the campus to the bikerack and rumaged through her pockets to find her key. she couldnt find it. antonio appeared behind her. "hey." he said. "around your neck." she turned around with a shocked axpresson on her face, she grabbed her neck, immidiatly finding her bike key connected to her necklace and smiled. "thanks" she said, smiling. "almost gave up..." she turned, unlocked her bike and stuffed the lock into her backpack. she was about to remove her bike when antonio muttered something. She turned around. :can...can i talk to you...?...alone?" he asked, his face was bright red and she laughed. "what? is there some girl you like and you want to ask me for advise?" she asked, rolling her eyes. to her surprise he nodded. "something like that....yes..." he said. she arched a brow and placed her hands on her hips. "antonio...what's wrong? you seem a little tense today..." her voice was suspicious. he looked down. "i...i dont know how to say this, but..." Norma suspected what was coming and took a few steps back, feeling the fence behind her with herr back. "antonio...please dont tell me you..." her voice trailed off as he stepped forward and nodded. "i think... i think im in love with you...." he said. Norma looked away. "im sorry....its just...." she again left her sentance unfinished. He stepped forward again and placed his hands on her shoulders. "what is it...?" he asked, pressing himself close to her. She swallowed hard and could not find her voice and he leaned in for a french. She tried to struggle free, but she was shaking so hard she couldnt muster enough strength. she turned her head and he only managed to kiss her cheek. "antonio...please dont..theres someone else!" she yelled. he smiled and arched a brow. "forget him.. think about us..." he said. norma pushed him away, slightly taken abash by his sudden rudeness. "How can you say that?!" she said, glaring at him. this conversation lasted a few minutes bofore she finally grabbed her bike and pedaled away, her face red with embaresment and her hands still shaking.
omfg...........i want to like...kill him now...he was such a jerk.... im sorry it happened anthony. i think ill stay home sick tommorow...
