I live in the land of the unwanted.
Watching from my isolation.
I can see all the smiling faces
The loving looks

Never has anyone looked at me like that
Never has anyone smiled just for me
I’m used and tossed aside
Over and over

I’m a placeholder for someone better
Tossed in the garbage after use
Torn, broken and dirty
Will someone love me?

I wasn’t made to be loved
I wasn’t made to be happy
I’m just the garbage left trampled
Burned to make way for better

So I sit in my isolation
On top of the garbage
Dreaming of a better life
But knowing it will never come
