i cry you say who cares
i sit and wait under the window pane
waiting for the certain someone to sweep me off my feet.
i throw pennies into fountains trying to find anyway to get lucky.
you are surrounded by people who you will never know.
you pass them on the street not even giving them a second glance.
our world is surrounded be insecurities that we try to hide.
people who are to secure with themselves have something to hide.
what is something we hide?
is it a past relationship.
a past memory.
something we did we wish we didnt.
hiding things can ruin our mood
ruin our friendships
ruin our life.
then we look around the media
and see girls
who are skinnier than our leg.
who are prettier than
we could ever think of.
then we go to the toilet and try to
purge our emotions and weight away
what do you consider beauty
the way light trickles down our face.
the way our body hits your pupil.
or simply is it what makes you aroused.
beauty is an opinion
never a fact.
world renown beauty vixens
are never a fact of beauty
just a timeless piece of art
that is slowly getting chiseled away.
the love of beauty is
that to be envied.
loving oneself whole heartedly is hard
and is envied worldwide.
when is it okay to judge someone?
when you think your better than some one.
you are no better than anyone else
everyone is made out of the same mold per say
just some come out skinnier and more attractive
in some peoples eyes.
but whats to say some one is attractive?
you, me?
no. no one.
let everyone be who they want to be.
dont try and change some one.
you are affected by everything around
you to the simplest Colgate commercial
to the president on t.v.
just always follow yourself.
when people make cliché comments towards
people it frustrates me to no end.
i love breaking molds and names as
fast as you can make them.
i love going above and beyond what you think
i am capable of.
i love astounding you.
making you surprised.
so when i cry and you say who cares.
i just think back
and shake my head feeling sorry for you
as i say my good night prayers
i will remember you.
