Yes, you heard me.....Happy frickin New Year.....The tone of my words should give you an idea of how mine turned out. So here goes with an explanation.
Ok. I said before in my last post that my bfs mom was taking our daughter for the weekend so that we could spend new years together, alone, and thoroughly enjoy it. Well, things didn't quite go like I had hoped. Here's why....
Friday arrived. I slept-in for a change and spent most of the day relaxing and enjoying the quiet that I don't get often while my bf was at work. He came home @ 6pm and we decided we were hungry so after a few he left to get us something to eat and bought some alcohol as well. We ate and didn't start drinking till 8ish. We never got drunk or even buzzed really. We sat around the rest of the evening, him playing GTA: San Andreas and me watching (the usual). He stopped playing around 11:30pm and we watched the ball drop on tv. Then we continued to watch some stuff until 1:30am when I realized that he had just fallen asleep on the couch. Now, we were up late the night before and he worked a majority of the day so yeah, he was tired.....But I didn't think he'd actually just up and fall asleep.
I finally woke him up and got stuff around to go to bed. I had thought we were going to "make the night special" if you know what I mean....I had finally stopped ragging and was hoping to fool around. Those thoughts were shattered by his sudden falling asleep on the couch and the subsequent snoring that followed when we got into bed. Since I can NOT sleep through snoring I got up and slept on the couch neutral Once he's tired and has alcohol in him there's no keeping him from doing that so I didn't even try to mess with it. So the couch for me.....
Then the next day wasn't much better for we still sat around not doing much after he fiinally woke up @ noon.....Nice way to start off the new year I swear. So any plans I had about it being a sweet and romantic time alone were dashed & ripped to shreds. And that's the way the whole weekend was. We picked up Caitlin sunday afternoon and that's about it. The only slightly good thing that happened was saturday night we went to Family Video and rented Ghost Hunter. It's a pretty good game with a real smart-a** for a lead character which is always a good thing wink
And incase you all were wondering, though I doubt you are, we didn't ring in the new year the "right way" till last night......And it was pretty damn good too *too much info, I know.....sorry*
So I do hope everyone elses new years plans went better than mine did and you all had fun with whatever you did. I sure hope the way my year started won't be a reflection of what's to come and the rest of the year.....That's just a sorry reality now isn't it? neutral
