A Journal That Clouds the Mind
Just my random thoughts about things. Some lyrics and even a story or two. Not for the faint of heart, you have been warned.
Sidetrack Comix 2
Hours later in the city of Lostwoods, Illinois(I'm not from Illinois) at a Cyber cafe named 'Cybr Caf' Fox was neatly seated behind a counter with a phone headset on working at a computer. It was a simple cafe where people met and talked and chatted online adn stuff. They even ordered food online. Fox's appearance seemed a little on the flushed side but she smiled and greeted the next caller.
"Hello, there. This is Cyber Cafe. How may I help you."
"For starters you can go back to Hell," came a loud voice from over the phone that blasted the headset right off. Fox whimpered and rubbed at her sensitive ear. She knew who the voice belonged to.
"Ow.... Can't you ever say hello like normal people?" she asked. The person who had called her came through the front door, a gust of snow rustled his black pants and jacket. He snapped his cellphone shut and stuck it in his pocket.
"As if you know what normal is," he said. Fox placed her headset on the table and glared at him.
"You always did like to make a big entrance, Shane."
"Fox," he greeted her. Luckily for the both of them, the cafe was empty due to weather.

Shane was a wandering preist and a hunter who slayed the demons of this Earth and kept the Humans safe. However, he didn't like the Humans all that much because of their stupidity and blindness. His sole purpose was to rid the world of evil whatever form it took. He had jet black hair that he kept tied back and had deep blue eyes that were frozen with years of fighting. He had a sword at his side and she knew he held many more weapons conceled from view.

He started to walk towards her and she stood up from her seat. They didn't trust each other and being at the slightest disadvantage was bad.
"What are you doing here?" Fox asked with a bored expression on her face. Shane held the same tone.
"I've come to send you back to the gates of Hell." Fox sighed. 'Not again.'
"Listen, how many times do I have to tell you? I'm not a demon, a spawn from Satan, or a heathen from Hell. Also-" as Fox went on with their usual banter, Shane was calculating teh situation as always. He noticed something odd however. Fox was standing but she was holding her chair as if a crutch. Her right leg was slightly bent and her face was a bit pale. He focused back to her face.
"-So get off my back," she finished.
"You're favoring your right leg. Why?" he asked in a monotone voice. He neither smirked or frowns, keeping his serious disposition. Someone entered through the doors behind Shane. 'Not now,' she thought, recognizing the figure.
"...I slipped on some ice."
"You're lying," Shane said immediantly.
"Why do you care?" Fox glared. Shane glared back.
"You haven't healed from our last fight, have you?"
"...I have." Shane was about to say something else but another voice cut him off.
"Do you need some help?"
'Wha?!' he thought in surprise and twisted backwards, pointing a cross pistol at the person. The intruder had a wing coming out from his back on his right side. A vampire. Shane's gun CLICKed and glowed.
"Demon," Shane muttered.
"Human," the vampire mused.

"They just keep popping up," Fox grumbled as she slowly sat herself back in her chair. Damien smiled gleefully at her.
"Hi, Foxxy!" he chirped.
"Hey, Damien." Shane looked at the creature with contempt. He was getting in the way of their battle.
"Shouldn't you be dead somewhere?" he asked. "It's 3 p.m.." Damien's claws that protruded from his wing scratched his chin, thinking.
"Actually no. With this snowstorm the sun is blocked out completely. What about you? Shouldn't you be spending your mortal life praying to God?"
Shane sneered at the vampire's comment. This did not phase Damien.
"Is this human bothering you?" he asked looking towards Fox. However, Damien's calm face turned into curiosity and Shane had to look back.
"What are you doing?" Damien asked. Fox had put her headset back on and dialed a phone number.
"Hello? Is this Bridget?" she asked over the speaker. Damien instantly froze and stared at her in horror.
"Hi!" Fox said pleasantly. "This is Fox. How are you? .... I'm fine. How's Damien? ...Is he home? Can I talk to him?" At this point it sounded to Shane as if this vampire was supposed to be at home instead of here. His suspisions were confirmed when Damien ran out of the store, another wing ripping from his jacket and lifting him off the ground.
"I'M COMING, BRIDGET!!"

The door silently closed and Shane stared after him with a 'WTF?' look on his face. He sheathed his gun back into it's holster.
"Who's Bridget?" he asked outloud, muttering "Pansy" under his breath. However when he turned to ask Fox again he found that he chair was empty. She ahd used Damien's reaction as a distraction. Shane growled to himself and followed after her.

You make it seem too much like me... except for the hair and eyes... but everything else is true... -ish. Whatever. It's your comic.

But I am evil. I just like to get people out of my way in life.

Good story. Keep it up. Get a damned scanner.
