A grown man stood at the end of the line.s dusted up old navy t-shirt, A sticky pair of Levi's. His blue eyes seemed rather cloudy and his hair was a mess. His blouse leaned against his pants a slogan that read "Wegmans." His Name was Thomas Thatcher, Another Kodak Lay-off.He was depressed, his hair tussled from the consistent strain of nervousness, Earlier it had caused him to spill a jar of grape-flavored Jam on this pants. A shard of glass remained lodged in his leg,but for the moment this was the least of his worries, His girlfriend Nicole was on vacation ,visiting her parents down in Miami,Florida,they had owned a top-notch car dealership known in many states. She was unaware of Him Having been laid off. This Kodak Secretary having lost his job, this circumstance left him nervous and uneasy. He couldn't afford practically anything,A Torn-up bagboy couldn't feel any lower. When she found out what would she do? would she dump him and move on?Ramble on about how she couldn't stand him now that financial problems came about.What would she do.He took the next customers bags and hauled them out to their car, his legs dragging as he trudged along in a depressed manor. He popped the bags into her trunk as he shut the trunk he began to trudge back his eyes nearly flooding with tears. When a tug of his wrist caught him by suprise. His eyes shut tightly and prepared for another scolding of how the customer didn't like the way he handled their groceries. The tug became more demanding as she grew far more impatient,she jerked him back as his eyes sealed shut, he could tell that she was standing in front of him. And began to shake, tears running down his face. when a kind hand was placed on his cheek, his eyes eased a bit as they opened. His mouth tore open with excuses when he saw what thought to be the impossible. She cut him off placing her fingers over his lips."Just relax." she chuckled a bit as Nicole stood there meeting him eye to eye. "Thomas,relax everything's fine. I came in from florida this morning, Kind of a rush flight here I guess. your friend called me and told me about what you were going through.I came here trying to comfort you." she took her hands off of his lips wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled his lips into hers. his heart soared as he kissed her far harder than she expected. this lased for about maybe seven minutes when she broke away. "I also wanted to let you know,my father heard about your condition, from me and he's offering you a job if you'd like a job in car sales. I love you so much and regardless of the circumstances I will always be there for you,and I'll be waiting for you at home. She got in the car and pulled out of the parking lot.He walked to his boss and quit his job. That day Thomas left the happiest man alive.
