I really don't know why, but I was totally out of the writing mood since...a long time...I even somewhat gave up on that fanfic I really wanted to go through with. Too bad...I don't know why I don't feel like writing anymore. Guess I don't have a clear mind.
Anyways, onto what the topic says. biggrin
Humanities Celebration 2006...no wait...that's awkward. Yeah, it is. It's actually supposed to be simply put as "Humanities Day 2006". It always was. Humanities Day. But then again, we didn't celebrate Humanities Day last year. Boo hoo...no trips to replace classes. But my sophomore year went pretty well. Let's just say that our class was the best ever...with a very special teacher...he's got a unique mind...let's just put it at that.
Anyways, we celebrated Humanities this year. But not just a day, but rather it was an overnight trip. An awesome overnight trip. Actually, it was the first time they allowed the idea of the students spending a night at wherever they were going. Haha...lucky us. FINALLY. Okay, point is, it was a great trip. But...then again...it could've been better...it could've been....it could've been...if only...NAH...impossible... stare I gave it a 6/10. It REALLY could've been better. I mean, the ride was great (airconditioned buses...very VERY good...considering the fact that I was still recovering from a few things...one, my cold/flu/horrible cough/sucky illness/etc., and...if you've read my journal before, even on Class_Genius', you'd know...), accomodation was awesome (fuggin' ozzum...got to roomhop this time), all in all, it was good. Damn, it REALLY could've been better. Like, I really could've tried alcohol. I asked Mom (well, text messaged her); she said no. There...were drinks...in the fridge...which we wouldn't expect to be there (both the fridge and the booze)...and we were tempted. What kept us from drinking it was it's price of P66.00 (sixty-six pesos; Philippine currency; apprx. US$1.30), and believe me...if you take a look at the Philippines' situation...you'd find that P66.00 would be a rip-off. Ookay...getting off the topic... xp More onto what happened during the days of September 21-22.
Okay, got up at 3:00am, and hustled to get ready. Okay, SO not me. I laid in bed for another 30 minutes. There...happy? stare Anyways, Mom was the one that forced me out of bed. I loathingly did my morning routine, at a very early time, therefore, I was still sleepy. I almost bumped into the doorframe... xp Got done with my bath (didn't even fix my hair until I got to school), got dressed, then breakfast. Quick, right? WRONG. I was stuck at the computer most of the time, managing M.Hiryu and hoping Hayato_Hiryu (aka unstable boyfriend who I really love and miss) would come on. What disappointment... Left the house at 5, got to rendezvous spot (school) in about 20 minutes. Laid to the side and just avoided everyone there. Left my bags at the guardhouse, but brought my "emo bag" with me. Got my essentials in there...okay, maybe even more than that. It took a bit for the buses to arrive, so we had to wait. Damnit...I hate waiting sometimes...even though it's usually me people wait on.Anyways, I sneaked off to the grandstand and just sat there, admiring the quickly-brightening sky. I really wished it would've stayed nice and dark and light-streaked longer. It looked better that way. When the sky started to light up a little too much (around 5:45am), I decided to join everyone else (Juniors and Freshmen) at the guardhouse. Got my luggage bag and sat on it and sulked away from the others. Unfortunately, I just stand out sometimes. Nah, it's just that the people who have hearts open to me and have concern for me. Shout out to all of youz. I was a little after 6 when the buses arrived. And it took a little more time to get the buses moving. People just don't move so fast getting on the bus because they don't exactly know where to place their asses. Sorry...just had to say so... I sat on the left, at the window with Charisse on my right. Ace had sat beside her later on, and it was pretty calm with him there. Normally, he'd be such a nuisance...in our linggo, pasaway. There's a difference. I was still feeling bad since I didn't feel like doing anything. But anyways...after a bit, a put on a little FOB on my CD player. Yes, it does kinda suck that I don't have an mp3 player. What sucks more is that I don't have a CD burner. What sucks most is that my computer's ******** up because of it's CD-ROM drive is having a fit and made my computer...mentally challenged. I just HAD to drain out the horrible music playing on the radio. I really wanted to listen to some other stuff though, not just FOB and Papa Roach and MCR (I've somewhat gotten sick of MCR...so sad to say...). I don't even know why I brought Kelly Clarkson along... stare Okay. Breakfast onboard. neutral Chicken...I...have honestly...gotten sick...of eating chicken. Luckily, Mom had packed some fruit for me...ah, luscious fruit. We had a few stopovers. Some I didn't even remember. I was just too deep in thought. I hadn't even gone down the whole time, not even to piss. Hey...not my fault I hate public bathrooms. Besides...I didn't even feel like it...I swear. We got to Kalibo, Aklan at around...well, I don't really know. I wasn't listening to that...somewhat...gay...tour guide. The scarf said it all...look...no offense...no offense at all. Just saying. First major thingy -- a visit to the Office of the Governor. Too bad...think 180+ people would fit in there? Stupid people... stare Get back on the bus, everybody... We went to the Mangrove Eco-Park. It was awesome. Okay, the lecture wasn't something I could listen to, knowing that...well...let's just say I have some knowledge on mangroves already...thanks to the ever-so-lovely Mr Fuentespina. To others, he'd be the ever-so-hot Sir Oliver. rofl Oh come on...he's married... stare Get a grip... The sights were awesome. Maybe except, that estuary-type thingy (mangroves are trees that grow in estuaries; estuaries are waterforms that border freshwater and saltwater waterforms, usually joining rivers to the sea) that we had to cross. The current was somewhat consistent, I didn't know how to swim, and it was a bamboo bridge we were crossing. Luckily, it was sturdy and wider than other bamboo bridges I have some across. But still...scary. We saw lots of cool things in the water -- crabs, hermit crabs, fish, eels, snakes, weird tiny squid-like thingys, and the like. At the end of the trail was an awesome beach. So nice and breezy there. I just loved it. Even saw that gay freak, known as It among Karla, Paulene, and I, frollicking and jumping for some odd gay reason. It was like he was pouncing trying to catch something... neutral I wanted to stay there for a longer time, but we had to head back for lunch. I was feeling really tired though...that was a long trail... On the way back, I started to mock It after he called my attention calling me Baby Antonia (damn I hate that) and it was like he bitched about me insulting him back that he was about to cry or something. He did kinda push everyone out of his way and rushed back to where everyone else was. We had lunch, some picture-taking with the ever-so-youthful Mrs Cuenca, and then headed back to the buses. Oh yeah. And Phillip's ID fell into the water. As if he's jump into the murky water to get it. He did some stunts to get it back, though. It was cool. Okay...THEN back to the buses. We left at around 1:20pm and went to the Aklan Museum. Saw some stuff and memorabilia of the late Cardinal Sin and some stuff about Aklanon culture. it was packed, so Cha (Charisse) and I went out. So happened that she needed some extra batteries for her digicam. Another reason to head out of the museum. MD tagged along, and we got some batteries after going to about 3 stores looking for some. We got batteries, and then headed back to the buses. We then went to a convent -- The Pink Sisters. I prayed a bit there...for some particular things... Whoo!! Next stop, Sampaguita Gardens!! Our place for the night. blaugh It...was AWESOME for us girls. Most of us got the suites -- 4-5 per room. The guys on the other hand...were unfortunate...they had to stay in the dormitory-type rooms with 16-20 in each room. Lucky for MD's roommates...he brought his PS2 along. stare We got to our room and found out we got the deluxe suite. Awesome. I even got to catch Inuyasha. 4laugh Well...missed most of it...but anyway...better than nothing. I got to watch a Chinese-dubbed episode though...too bad I couldn't understand one ******** word...but I understood the plot... Got cleaned, got dressed too soon for dinner...so we headed to the gift shop. Bought some souvenirs for my family -- rosaries for my parents and coin purses for my sisters. I luff my family and I was somewhat missing them... crying But I was busy worrying about someone...and missing him so much, at that... Went back to the room, got changed AGAIN...damn it's humid... Went to dinner...dinner was the best meal I had ever since we left Iloilo. Well, besides lunch on the 21st. Oh god...I was missing him so...on our 6th monthsary at that...>_< The Governor was supposed to be present for dinner with us. He couldn't come though. But he sent someone to take his place. Some attorney who speaks with so much charisma. We were frightened actually. Gave him a standing ovation in the end though... And then...pictorials. When I saw the developed pictures, I...found myself...ugly...-.- But I got a nice bod...haha, so vain of me...seriously...-.- Okay...after that, lots of people went swimming. And...surprise surprise...guess who everyone cheered for...*sigh* Me...it...was a shock... Sir Oliver went in...the chicks thought he was hot...God, get a grip, girls... Bad thing -- got a horrible cramp...lower left leg...I...hate...cramps...but I hate them most when you get one in the middle of the night...when you wake up from one... We were only given until 9-10pm to swim...but they got lots of the people out by around 9:45. I headed back to the room to get clean. Took a nice shower...did something I wasn't exactly supposed to do there...don't ask...Hayato should know though... Got dressed in all white...and I meant EVERYTHING -- underwear, bra, shirt, pedals, socks. Felt so good...... Bedtime...I crashed in Karla's room for the night with Josie, Paulene, and Almarie. We were assigned 4 per room, but there's an extra mattress, so that'd make 5 or 6 the most since there's a queen-sized bed, a double, and 2 single mattresses...or were those doubles...not so important...I crashed there for the night...I just felt like it...I was going through some kind of depression, as you shoud've noticed, and I could only be silenced if I could talk to either of these people -- Charisse, Karla, Josie, and the like. Include Jozelle and Paulene. We stayed up a but since we couldn't sleep yet because our hair was still wet...not good to sleep with your hair wet...So, we watched a few movies -- Monster-In-Law, and some movie were young Macauley (sp?) Culkin (well, let's put him as the famous Richie Rich kid) and young Elijah Wood starred in this movie wherein Macauley plays this psychopathic kid who killed his baby brother and plans to take his family down for some weird, unknown reason...apparently from jealousy and the feeling for revenge. Almarie took the queen-sized bed all to herself, Paulene and Josie on the matresses that blocked the door, and Karla on the double. I slept at the edge of Karla's bed, curled up like some cat. I was reluctant to get up the next morning. I had woken up first, and apparently none of them were up yet, so I went back to sleep even though it was already past 5 and the wake-up call was at 6:30 for breakfast. I got up later though, but I kinda gave Karla a hard time waking me up though... sweatdrop Went up to the room to get changed into jeans and a different shirt. Packed everything up not forgetting anything...except my bar of soap from last night's bath. stare I put my shoes on and went out with Charisse again for breakfast. We caught up with the girls I crashed with though. We ate breakfast together, and man, was breakfast good. It was just simply good. Especially those muffins...those tasted awesome, even without jelly or butter...wish I could've tried it with some jelly or butter though... Afterwards, everyone cleaned out their rooms of their bags and belongings. I brought my luggage straight to the bus though. I didn't hear the announcement...I was busy packing up still. We left for the man-made, 7-basin waterfall, Jawili Falls. We were only allowed to get to the 5th basin. We weren't allowed to go all the way to the 7th one. We weren't allowed to go past the hut. Anyways, there was this extremely deep basin...I forgot how deep though...range it from 24-60 ft. deep. Noel took a dip...he slipped into the water. Not into that deep basin though... sweatdrop There's this brook from the 5th to the 6th basin. He fell in. As for Wayne, he was posing and everything...being the other effeminate guy around. He overdid it. He got up, but slipped...and got his a** wet. THAT'S what you get...for being so...overreacting... Next, we went to Ibajay Reforestration. OMG...so many steps...took us about 300 steps down when it said about 158 steps to the bottom...-.- Apparently my batchmates counted their steps and not the stairs' steps...-.- that's nice and observant... We were rushing through everything, afraid of slipping and falling the way down the steep steps...obviously painful and dangerous...that we didn't really take note of our surroundings...Sir Oliver was such a trooper...he jogged the way through... We got to the bottom...thank God no more worrying of falling. Then again...it got worse -- we had to go back up...I was huffing already...luckily, I had my ******** asthma... stressed took a few puffs and went all the way. Got back to where we started, tired from going back up. Casualty! Karla had an asthma attack and forgot her inhaler in her (luggage) bag back at the resort. I saved her...apparently...the "ever-so-hot" yet ever-so-intelligent-and-wise Sir Oliver was frantically looking for someone with an inhaler. Apparently, I was the only one who brought mine along. But I used a different medicine, so the first time he asked, he said nevermind. But then Karla wasn't exactly getting any better, so he borrowed my inhaler. We couldn't go visit the springs (well, bus 3 -- the bus I was on couldn't...), the mall, and PiƱa Village because they were planning to take Karla to the hospital. Then again, on the way, she was feeling better, so they went back to Sampaguita Gardens for lunch. We came back to the resort for lunch, but we were worrying more about Karla. She found out the the inhaler that somewhat saved her life was mine and she thanked me. She said that if it weren't for it/me, she could've been admitted in the hospital by then. We had lunch...chicken...again...-.- After that, we headed home. Making stopovers for some other souvenirs, notably food. They said that the other bus (bus 4) that carried the other half of the Junior class had problems starting after one stopover. The driver then reported that the bus was low on power on its battery. They got back safely though. Although...they somewhat almost left Val and Reina behind some 500m before they noticed they weren't around. Wow... We got back by 6pm and went home...had an awesome trip...^^
...Okay, I'll try editing this later...it's 12:45am, Sept. 30, and I'm dead tired...I can't see so clearly unless I blink and focus...-.- Goodnight all...
