So, my mom and I finally got around to hanging out and watching a movie. We were gonna get Inside Man on pay-per-view, and it was gonna be great. Only they changed the times of the movie showings all around, so Inside Man didn't come on until ten. Well, that wasn't going to work, because I have school tomorrow. ._.;; So my mom was like, 'Well, why don't we get a different movie?' and I was like 'Okay, sounds good.' So she was like, 'RV just started, or there's Silent Hill, which comes on at 9:30.'
Silly me, I picked Silent Hill. I'm not a real big horror movie person.
This movie's had me going 'No, no, don't go down there!' or 'Stupid, call the police!' or even 'Hit it with a stick! Before it keels j00!!'
And we're only twenty minutes into it.
Well, actually, we were twenty minutes into it. We got as far as the part where the lady was surrounded by a whole bunch of creepy stuff, and then my mom and I both decided to turn it off. Oh well, at least we watched part of it. That made it nearly worth the money paid to get it on pay-per-view...right?
Whatever. Horror movies were a bad idea anyway. Now we're watching Cold Case. Almost as bad, though not quite. It's got dead people. But at least it doesn't have all the other craziness of Silent Hill...like that Pyramid Head thing. I saw a couple of those at Otakon. They were dragging around dead bodies, which I thought was kind of funny...because I hadn't seen the movie.
