I'm kinda annoyed. I had a very strange day! First of all, My CORE class (language arts and social studies), we had a sub. A SUB. A SUBSITUTE. Well, anyway, we just happened to be checking our Adverbs homework. The sub spent like, 30 minutes checking it! She kept on saying everything opposite. gonk Each period is 45 minutes, so we had to rush through everything else. Then we had social studies. She read us part of an epic called Gilgamesh. You see, we are working on Mesopotamia right now. She was reading quite slowly, so me and my friend were passing notes! And we passed notes during the Mesopotamia video. We were using our 'secret code', a system we used so the teacher doesn't understand what we were writing. We were saying, that if the sub catches us, we would say that we were practicing making our "pictographs". So we would get extra credit. mrgreen
Sneaky sneaky eh?
For PE, we played cageball. There were these HUGE balls about 3 feet in diameter and I don't bother finding the circumference. We had to do the crab walk and kick the ball toward the goal. The room was puny, so naturally, everyone would have been bonked on the head about 5 times. I was bonked 10 times ( I was in the middle ). And I accidentally landed my foot on someone's head. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt. Or else I would've never lived it down.
