	The Journal of a ButtMuffin... beyond the beauty of it all... Ain't nothing better than the truth... sometimes it's hard, cold, harsh, and sharp around the edges...

Saturday November 11th 2006 My little brother who is only five years old is terribly sick... He has had a fever on and off all day long... I made him soup, rubbed vapor rub on his chest, and made sure he had plenty to drink... He was asleep in my bed and I was on the computer only 2 yards or so away... When all of a sudden I heard him laughing... Histerically... He was laughing like I'd never heard him laugh before... I looked over and his face was bright red... At first I thought he was laughing at what was on T.V... Garfield and friends... But no... He was staring at the ceiling... Still chuckling I went over and crouched beside him... I asked him what was so funny... I said "What are you laughing at?" "What is it?" He couldn't talk between his laughter... He just pointed at the ceiling... That went on for a min. or so... And then he just threw up... All over himself and in my bed... I ran to get the garbage can... But most of it was in my bed and on him... I sat him down in a chair and took everything off of my bed... Noticing that he must have peed himself... Either from laughter or as his stomach wrenched... As I cleaned him up. changed his clothes and sent him off to lay on the couch... I asked him what he had been laughing at... He said he saw a "really really big carrot and a really really tiny mushroom" I said "Where did you see that?" He said "I imagined it!" I think my brother was hilucinating from his high fever!
