Well, looks like another journal update... Let's see...
I bought some shoes today... Set me back over $100, but I'll make it up this week. XD I'm still saving money, yes. But it's been a long time since I bought shoes. So now that I have some, I can go back to saving.
I watched Floyd Mayweather's fight(boxing), and much to my not-so-surprise, he won. Yay! Lol. Also, a boxing great has returned to the ring: Evander Holyfield. Holyfield as always been a favorite of mine. From his fight with George Foreman to his fight with Lennox Lewis. Always been a fan. But let's face it, Holyfield is past his prime. He's proven to the world that he's great, and that should be it. I really don't want to see him hop into the ring with these young guys, only to have his name tarnished. He's too old. He should've stayed out while he was on top. Michael Jordan made the same mistake. In his prime... man, this dude was GREAT. But when he retired, then decided to come back... bleh. He was still a good player, but was too old to be great. He was just kinda normal. Maybe slightly above. For the new generation to see this, they're like, "This is Michael Jordan? The one I've heard of? Meh... he's not all that great." Even worse... I'm hearing rumors that Mike Tyson is planning on joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship(UFC). Now what in the blue hell is Mike thinking? This guy was my favorite boxer ever, but screwed around and got himself into trouble. From chewing on people's ears to giving up in a fight against a big dork. Now he wants a piece of the UFC!? Boxing and mixed martial arts are TWO different things. Mike now struggles to throw decent punches... something he was once a perfectionist at. Now he wants to try throwing kicks, learning grapples, countering grapples, etc... in the UFC? Land of "The Iceman" Chuck Liddel? This is gonna make him an even bigger joke in the eyes of the public.. The man who was once feared in the ring and known as "Iron" Mike Tyson is no longer intimidating. sad
Well, I guess that's about it for me...
