MOOD: sweatdrop Why can't I sleep?
I just submitted my first entry to the Avatar Arena. It's not up for voting until Week 50, starting next Monday. I have until Sunday to change my mind and get my 1000g back, I guess.
When I vote on avatars in the arena, I hate the ones that are overdone. Just because someone dropped XXXXXg (or $2.50) I have to ignore the fact that his/her avi is tacky as all get-out? Come on. Tacky's tacky no matter what it cost or how long the quest was for all that junk.
So I guess it's time for me to see what people think of the more tasteful, less costly approach to avi-building. Everything I'm wearing in the avi probably adds up to less than 10000g, and none of it is sparkly, shadowy, floaty, or anything.
I'll probably get comments that say it's plain or boring and I'll get a bunch of really low scores . . . won't crack the top ten at all . . .
. . . but I'm hoping, oh I hope I hope I hope, there will be a surge of votes saying things like, "Wow, this actually matches and it's not covered with glittery crap!"
