The basement was dark save for a few candles that rested on Lucias' study table. Fox was sitting on the ground of the room. Her hands and feet were shackeled to the floor. A circle of ancient scriptures surrounded her. Lucias sat close but no too close to his friend to watch her. Fox couldn't help but shiver from the cold and hug the sheets closer.
"Thanks for the sheets, Lucias. I'd hate for Damien, even Shane, to come down here and see me naked. I'd never hear the end of it."
Lucais just nodded and waved his hand like it was nothing.
"Well I can't have you catch a cold while sitting on the frozen floor, can I?" Shane was around the corner listening in on their little conversation. His anger had ebbed away with interest.
"It wouldn't have matter," Fox said. "But I'm glad you did it anyways."
"My pleasure."
"Yo must have transformed by now," she said trying to come up with conversation.
Lucias once again agreed and nodded.
"Wading waist-deep in snow, she must have. BRRRR! I can't stand the thought of going out there," he said, his coils shivering and clacking against the cement floor.
"What a shame too. If the hunter wasn't here tonight, I would have been able to witnessa challenge for territory between you and your sister."
Fox grimaced at the thought.
"I disagree. For once, I'm glad Shane showed up. I forgot about your experiment... It would have been blood-AAGGHH!!!" came a sharp cry in the silent basement. Lucias gasped and looked at his timer.
"L-Lucias?!" came a worried moan from Fox.
"...Odd. Spasms shouldn't have started for another 3 mintues. Fox, are you okay?" he asked not sure what to do. He was afraid to get too close. Fox fell on her hands and knees trembling.
"I don't know.. I-I-It's you!!" Fox shouted. "Shane, Damien, You! Too many people, too close! The smell..!!"
Shane hastily turned back and leaned against the wall. The naga had looked in his direction. Lucias wondered what he had seen and was about o go that way but Fox had grabbe dhis cloak and pulle dhim close.
"!! Fox, what are you-!?"
"D-Damien!!! GO. GET. DAMIEN. Make sure... Shane stays upstairs! PLEASE!" Fox looked at the hidden face of Damien with pleading eyes. Her hair was already shifting and her eyes were becoming hazy. Her soft brown ears were now growing and no longer looked friendly.
"O-Okay, Fox! I'll do it just let go of me!"
Fox slowly released his green cloak and collapsed back onto the stone floor, shaking. Lucais slithred out of the room leaving Fox groaning in pain. The naga had slid right past Shane and teh hunter waited for him to go upstairs but the snake stopped.
"I suggest you go back upstairs, human." Lucias didn't even have to look to know he was there. He knew from the beginning. He could taste him in the air. Shane looked at him with a glare.
"Why should I?" After his question Lucias turned slightly to glance at him.
"Because there are things you should not see, hunter."
"Big deal," Shane said with a casual look. "I've already seen here transform before. It's no secret."
There was a sudden FWUMP when Damien landed on the ground; having jumped down the stairs.
"That's not what he's referring to." Shane leaned against the wall wondering what he meant.
Ignoring his look, Damien rounded the corner and walked towards his lover.
"It's... About time. Damien," Fox said in short gasps. Her eyes now no longer yellow but gold; red where the white should have been. Damien knelt down towards her, his claws tracing her face.
"Foxxy. You're looking sexier than ever." Fox growled and stared at him.
"...Cut it out and drink my blood."
"WHAT?!?" was her answer from both Damien and Lucias. Shane looked at Lucias who was stilll with him with a wondering expression.
"From your expression, she doesn't say that a lot, huh?" Lucias shook his head.
"You have a better chance seeing vampires sun-tanning." Shane raised an eyebrow.
"Since they're a couple I always thoguht he'd go to straight to her if he ever nedded blood." Lucias gave knowing nod but used his finger to point out the problem.
"That is usually how it works but Fox refuses to give him blood. So he gets it from other 'donors'. Shane pulled out a notebook and wrote down his progress.
"Why is that?" he asked, scribbling a few notes down. ((Lol, totally Owl's idea))
"Wouldn't you like to know?" came a mysterious question from Lucias.
"How much, Fox?" Damien asked Fox, inching clsoer to her. Fox fought to keep her claws to the gorund as she watched him.
"Until I pass out," she whispered. Damien's eyes widened a bit but he didn't argue.
"Why?" was all he asked.
"...You'll find out soon," Fox said in a whisper. Once he drinks some of her blood, all her thoughts she flow right to him. Fox whimpered in pain as another spasm occurred. Damien shot out and pulled her against him. He tilted her head back and licked the spot he would feed from.
"...Damien..." came a trembling voice ffrom her. She was urging him to hurry. The hunter's eyes widened form his position when the vampire bit down. Fox's wide eyes soon started to close in peace and a sudden wind whirled up around them .It was powerful enough that even Shane had to gaurd his face from the debris.
"What's happening?!" he asked Lucias. The naga only held his hood down.
"Of course! Fox is trying to release the beast through damien so she won't have to transform tonight!"
"Should we be worried?!" Came the hunter's voice. He looked over at the snake with a confused expression. Giving a vampire a werewolf's powers didn't sound smart.
"Damien is over 2000 years old. We should be safe." But that didn't reassure the hunter.
