I was in a depression, I felt useless. The one I sought to beat had beaten me and I didn't even get the satifaction of dying. I was left to live as a weak mortal, and then an Angel came to me, Kanna.
I had no idea she was an Angel. She surely didn't act like one except for her obvious hatred towards demons but she didn't have wings or a halo, I would soon find out why.
She came to me one day with a gift, a pendant. She told me I was the Choosen one to posses the Earth Pendant. She told me a story about the "higher being". After he had created the universe with all the elements he bestowed each elements to 7 angels in pendants in which they needed to protect. The angels were then sent down to gaia and were wiped from their memory. Every 777 years the angels would be reborn with a new body and a new family to take care of them. "The Almighty" figured the angels would be safe from Satan and his demons if they were hidden right under their noses, he was wrong. The demons soon found out what was going on and began chasing after the angels. Kanna, after having an accident started to remember who she really was and what she was meant to do.
Knowing that the the demons were after her and the other angels she began tracking her friends to get to them before the demons could, but when she got there it was to late. all that was left when she got there was their elemental pendant. All the other angels were killed, including her sister, and she was left to carry all the elements.
It became to much for her and she set out to find help to lighten the burden, and thats when she came to me. She gave me the earth pendant and told me now I possesed the Earthen ability. She also handed out the rest of the pendants to people occupying the bar at the time. I didn't really do anything about it at first, after all I was depress but once I found out the power it held I would search for the other pendants and soon gain all the elemental powers.
