When I was a child, I had my own little belief that because the sky was so vast, it could absorb every person's emotions, words, and thoughts. To me that was the real reason why it rained, why it got cloudy, and why the sun would shine so bright. It would rain everyone's sadness and refresh the earth, like a good cry refreshes your body. It would thunder loudly and flash lightning when it was exposed to too much anger and hate. That's the way the sky threw hissy fits, just like a person does. When the sky was lit up by the light of the sun, you knew people were happy. Like I said, that's what I believed as a child. Now I know the true nature of people, and the sky no longer reflects what I see, so I guess it lies. My resolve is too just paint it black. That way no one can see, and once the sky is lit, people will know what it is to view the world through eyes unclouded by selfishness and hate, and they wil do it. When that happens, perhaps the sky can be purified too. Maybe I don't make sense, but it's not like you guys make any sense either.
