(( Chapter 76.5? yep, thats right. In the mists of writing my chapters I left out a key detail that impacted some of Hawk's future actions, anyways enjoy.))
Akiko had made me a huge breakfast that mourning, about ten plates filled with the most tastest treats. I had one bite and let the rest go to waste. Why? Because I could. It was my last day to live and I didn't really give a ********.
I sat there in my office alone after I said my goodbyes to everyone messing with the strings of where the yellow button eye use to be of my black kitten plushie my brother gave to me when we were kids. I looked up away from thee kitten to find lone sitting outside the front door of my office.
"Is that your new pet?"
"It was a gift."
It became quiet.
"Where'd you go?"
I forgot I hadn't told lone yet. She wasn't aware that I died or that I came back from the dead just to die again. At least she didn't hear it from me. I was too wrapped up in my plans too kill Katsu that I forgot to take care of my dog... I wonderd how she survived.
"I uh-"
"Don't!" She turned and left. I followed her outside. She sat there tugging on her collar until it tore off falling to the ground.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm leaving."
"Your abandoning me?"
"A Lone Wolf is ment to to be alone."
She began to walk off and I yelled out towards her. "Sit! I command you to sit!" she continued to trod off. "You can't leave me! You're all I have! I don't want to be alone!!!"
Later that night I sat at the bar with Jup as Missy concocded the last drink I would have. "So are you sure you want to go through with the plan?" Jup asked. "Lone left today.... she was the last part I was trying to hold onto of my old family. First I lost Nick, then Luv, and now she's gone. I have nothig else to live for.. I mean there's Curly but she'll leave eventually anyways." Jup Shook her head and Missy Slid us our drinks. "What is it?" I asked. "Only the strongest drink in all of Gaia. Domething I came up with... I'll name it in memory of you."
"What are you going to call it?"
"How bout a Hawks-a**-Kicking."
I smiled and downed it.. wow It really was an a** kicking.
((the leave of Lone was important because it signified the ending of Hawk's "Old family" which ultmatly all abandoned him, at least he looked at it that way. Nick's death was no ones fault and Luv's leave was Hawks fault as well as Lone's. This will lead Hawk down an emotional path of deppression... what an emo.
But in a way the death of his old family will allow him to move on and try to build a new family... lets see how that works out, thanks for reading.))
