So last week, we got some snow. Maybe 2 inches worth. Though it turned bad, real quick. As it snowed, the snow turned to rain. The rain froze, of course. Then on friday, I was over my brother's house (that's where I play WoW). Him and his wife got a new van, that afternoon, while I watched the kids. After they came back, with the van, my brother, the kids and I, went out for groceries. When we got back, I brought one of the kids inside, which did not want to leave the van. He loved riding around in it. Then I went back out, to get the other kid and some groceries. While holding the kid in one arm and a bag containing 2 jars of tomato sauce and 2 jars of... some other sauce, which I can't recall the name of, I slipt a little. I didn't fall or drop anything, but the bottom of the bag ripped, which caused the 4 jars onto the cement step. The 2 tomato sauce jars, smashed on impact. Amazingly, the other 2 jars, had no damage, which was great, since they were part of that nights meal.
Although the kid and myself were unharmed and my brother said not to worry about it, I still feel bad. I could have taken more time, by only carrying the kid in first, instead of taking the jars in at the same time. Though, at the same time, I blame the grocery store for bagging 4 glass jars in 1 bag. Usually, they would double bag heavier things, like 4 glass jars.
