All right, so I didn't get dressed up real nice, but I did get to go out -- went to the cafe for some eats and conversation. Guess my momentary fantsy of being the girl in the coffee shop reading, trenchcoat-crisp-shirt-pencil-skirt-and-heels, will have to be realized some other time.
I even started reading a new book while waiting for Monty to pull up -- This Boy's Life by Tobias Wolff. I hadn't read anything by him before and so it's kind of odd to start with his autobiographical stuff. But I really like his writing style so far, so maybe I'll read more Wolff when I'm done.
And everyone should rent Katt William's Pimp Chronicles, Part One on DVD, and see if that don't improve the quality of yo' mo-fuggin' life.
