MOOD: Bored as usual
So SFW Mix #3 is a hit, and it's high time I make #4. I am horrible at keeping myself occupied with work-related tasks; as you can see, this is the closest thing I can come up with -- I'm going to start listing songs that should go on the next SFW Mix. I think it'll essentially be a reconstruction (heh, a Re-Make/Re-Model, if you will) of a few other mix CDs I made in 2004.
- Eels, "Going to Your Funeral, Part One" - Apples in Stereo, "Strawberryfire" - Space Twins, "Osaka Aquabus" - !!!, "Feel Good Hit of the Fall" - Beulah, "If We Can Land a Man on the Moon, Surely I Can Win Your Heart" - Stealer's Wheel, "Stuck in the Middle" - The Faint, "The Conductor" - The Kinks, "Victoria" - Pinback, "Already Ivy" - David Bowie, "Waterloo Sunset" - The Stills, "Still in Love Song" - French Kicks, "Call Our Hands" - Spoon, "I Wanted to be Your Friend" - Q and Not U, "And the Washington Monument (Blinks) Goodnight" - Hellogoodbye, "Homewrecker" (demo version) - Promise Ring, "Skips a Beat" - Weezer, "Falling for You" - Sondre Lerche, "You Should Know So Well" - Elefant, "Now That I Miss Her" - Kenna, "Sunday After You" - Elliott Smith, "Pitseleh" or "Southern Belle" - Sloan, "Coax Me"
So there's 21 or 22. Could be a good enough amount, methinks.
Ideas for themed SFW mixes: - The Eighties, of course - Cover songs, since I'm thinking about them so much - KROQ of the Nineties - Songs from movies - British bands only - Hennessey and Dyejob are From Tha Streets - Golden oldies - Electronic stuff - All-instrumental - Non-English
