	Thyna's Wanderings If you know what a kender is, you will understand. If not, this is going to be a collection of random stuff depending on how I feel, the events of the day, web sites, personal interests, trinkets, collectables and stuff from my pockets :)

A slightly higher position just came available at my work place. I admit I am a bit hesitent, but I put my name in anyway. It isn't that I can't do the job or am not qualified for it, but I admit I've gotten cozy in my current position, and maybe a bit too comfortable. So it is time for a challenge. But boy am I nervous about it. My leadership and organization skills will definatly be tested, big time. There is also some heavy competition. And am no longer sure of myself and my positioning. For a while I thought it might come down to the interviews. I may not have previous experience like one person does, but I do have the education, and for a while I thought I had seniority. But I just heard of another name that may have applied, and well, scratch the seniority. But I still might have a chance. Question is though do I want it. The pay isn't that much better, but has a lot more responcibility, and a lot more work involved. I know I can do the job, but am I ready for it? My supervisor thinks I will be ok for it. A couple of my co-workers are rooting for me. So that kind of backing is nice. All I can do is try and see how things go I guess. Wish me luck. My interview was on Tuesday. And my agency has the most nerve wracking interview system available. I probably would have bombed big time if my supervisor hadn't been there to give me a bit of a nudge. But I still feel like I failed just because of the assistance. The Interview itself takes about an hour, then after there is the writen segment which can be another hour or so. That part was easier because it was mostly senarios related to the house I'm currently in. So I already have to deal with those situations, and mentioned a couple of extra ideas that might work as well.

Now I have to wait and find out the results. Which will occure at some point today
(it is only 3 am after all xd )

I didn't get it, but I still don't know who did

But the weird thing is there are a couple of other positions people are trying to apply for and I have a feeling the person who got the position I wanted also tried for the others. So there is a possibility I will get the chance to try again, too funny.
