I'm sorry if any of you thought I was speaking ill of you. I was mostly ranting about my family. It's childish of me but after raising two children and providing for them and my wife for nearly twenty years I've suddenly woken up and realized that I don't have some of the things I want even though I've asked nicely for several years (at Christmas, birthdays, etc.) I will continue to provide but I just wonder when I'll be able to take care of what I want and is anyone greatful for what I've done.
I wouldn't wonder if your own fathers might feel the same way. Take a little time to tell them you love them and appreciate their sacrifices. For those that have lousy fathers, please feel free to ignore my advice.
