For almost all of my life, I have always been doubtful about myself, as did I doubt people around me, even my own parents. So much crap happened to me in the early stage of my life that it's one reason of doubting people, including males. Life has a tendency of slamming its fist into your guts, making you back up from the attacker. That is how I've been for all of my life until recently...
When I moved to Texas, then eventually getting internet for the first time in my life, I mostly went to fanfiction.net to read, not interact with people. I HAD joined Gaiaonline.com, but I never went on to RP until two months later since having internet. I thank a friend in Alabama for suggesting the site to me, Wawricks in Gaiaonline.
I eventually became an active RPer of Gaia, enjoying the whole thing about acting as your character with people that can't physically see you nor judge you by looks. Rather by how you RP and how you act towards others (And my parents WONDER why I prefer internet over people... stare ). About a year or two (hell, maybe even THREE) of having internet, I've met people that I eventually opened up to, but like a flower, it took a LONG while for that to happen. Ramza Iapis Akaea, Super_Saiyan_20_ZAIN, Elfen Wolf, Dark Knight Aixus... These are such people that I came to trust and even love (for all but Ramza, as brothers and sisters!!).
Without these people, I might have drawn back further into myself and cut off completely from the world. The first time of feeling so...
