My psychologist told me to write my crazy thoughts…
This is where I write down the things of my life. Don't like it, then tell my psychologist about kittentroubles.
Camping and dating (Oh the horror!)
EDIT: I'm an idiot! Check out my latest journal entry to find out why. *mutters* How could I be so blind...

---------------

Well, two weekends ago (Yeah, just now getting to write a journal entry about it) me, my mom, and my dad went camping in west-middle Georgia at the Franklin D. Rosovelt state park. This dude (Let's call him A. C.) and his family were supposed to be going as well, since it was planned for a large group. Now the problem with this is, A. C. has a crush on me and one of my friends ( gonk ). I'm not going to go into details about that... Anyway, he was suposed to bring another dude (let's call him Z. V.) who I think also has a small crush on me, though I am not sure and dont't have much in the way of proof. Well, come to find out neither was going to make it. Horray! But that also ment I'd be bored out of my mind! Ah well, I can deal with that better than two teenage guys.
Friday we arrived at the campsite. It was right on the lake, but it was rather a long hike to the bathrooms ( rolleyes ). I. Was. Bored! My dad wasn't there yet (he had to work 'till late), it was hot, and there was no swimming allowed in the lake. My dad said we didn't need fishing poles, he didn't know there was a lake. And I hadn't brought a book to read, so really all there was to do was nap and listen to my CD player. That worked until supper. After supper was marshmellow roasting, showers, then bed. While we were in the tent we played Yadice/Yatzee on my mom's Palm. Twice. That was fun though I lost.
Saturday came around and the plans were to go to a naval museum. Sounded interesting. We get to watch a demonstration, meaning they'll fire a canon and we get to watch two mini-boats of some 'iron-clads' fight against each other. We arive, thankfully it's in-door and air-conditioned. We get our tickets and just as we go to the first exzibite some creep behind me goes 'Rawr!' eek ... Turns out it's Z. V. OH NO! gonk crying I thought 'If he's here, R. C. can't be far behind!' I was right, of course. There was R. C. and his family right behind Z. V. I bet you're thinking 'Okay, calm down, you're over reacting.' I laugh at that. Only a few minutes go by and A. C. asks, "Can I ask you a question?"
Now I'm starting to worry. "Sure," I say stupidly. He just had to pick to be around the chatting parents, didn't he?
He then asks, "Do you want to go to a dance with me April 20th?"
My first reaction: Yelling and running. But Z. V. was standing in my way... But, I have an excuse! I say, "I probably can't, there's this Spring Chicken Festival for 4-H the 21st." You're probably thinking I'm an idiot. Go ahead, 'cause I agree.
When I was talking to Kylaena about this she asked, "Would you have maybe said yes if you could have?"
And I said, "No."
She then replied, "Poor A. C." (Except she knows his real name.)
Well, back to the horror film. Z. V. Then smartly says, "So you basicly say no to a guy who's been working up the nerve to ask you?" Which makes me feel bad, 'cause A. C.'s really a sweet guy, but I just don't like him that way.
So I (smartly) replied, "Even you know I can't!" I compleatly blew it... And you'lls see why.
Well, they leave to go eat their lunch and me and my family finish the museum. If ever you're around, you should visit. It's cool.
We finish and go eat our own lunch. When we return we still have time to kill before they fire the cannons. My dad decides to follow the crowd towards some sort of Civil War camp. At the bottom of the hill is a doctor's tent and the nurses and doc are demonstrating some stuff. We wonder over and guess who's there. Yep, A. C. and Z. V. Well, we eventully end up sitting with them on the side of the hill. Luckily it seems everything's normal. Or as normal as can be when you're with two teenage guys who keep throwing rocks at each other. Bored out of my wits I join in on the fun. After all, I've been friends with Z. V. for YEARS! Like 8-10 to me exact! So I'm not gonna let a little suspision get in the way of me having fun. Well, thigns go smoothly (A. C. even helped me knock some sense into Z. V. ninja ) and we head towards the cannon. Ten minutes later they fire the cannon. It shook the ground, which was cool 'cause it knocked a cloud of pollon off a nearby pine. The volenteers allow us to go to the cannon-people and ask questions. While we're waiting on A. C.'s little brother to ask a question A. C. rather randomly asks, "Even though you can't go to the dance, would you still like to date?" Then something funny happened... xd Just as I was saying "I don't know" (*sighs*), his mom (who was around) said, "Uh-uh, not a date, you know better."
A. C. says, "I mean hang out, of course I do." So I use that little distraction to catch up with my mom, who happened to be far away... ninja
Wendsday, when we were home, I was at church, talking to Ari (The other friend who has to deal with A. C.) and I found out he had asked her too (I think, 'cause she knew about it, but it may be a dance thingummy for their dance class). She asked: "Well, are you going?!
Me: What?! No!
Ari: Why not? I'm going!
Me: No!
Kara(another friend): Wait, you're going out with this guy now?
Me: NO! "
That was none too encouraging. Well, back to Saturday.
We then headed to the shade to wait for the 'battle'. Fooled around for a bit before heading up to get some drinks and snacks. We came back down just in time to see the battle. The first gun boat comes out, it looks like a giant romote control boat. Fun. (Turns out three people were in it steering and stuff) A guy at the top of the hill the starts explaing the history behind this boat as it goes up and down the side of the river, every once in awhile 'fireing' at the people watching. I got a video of it, but because it's rather loud when it fired I jumped, making it look like I got hit. Well, the other boat doesn't show and come to find out it had real leak. Someone told us where we can see it and we head that way. On the way Z. V.'s being his anoying self and, surprisingly, A. C. helps me hit him on the head a few times with his own soda bottle. Fun. Well, we get there, the boat's been moved, so we start heading towards the cars. On the way A. C. says "I hope I didn't startled you when I asked you to the dance."
I'm thinking 'Aw, how sweet...' Before remembering WHY I don't want to in the first place. He reminds me too much of my actual crush and it creeps me out. Plus he's too young for me. Anyway, I said, "Naw, don't worry about it." Complete lie. But what else could I say? Well, sadly, we go our seperate ways and I'm by my lonesome for the rest of the camping trip. Luckily we go to Wal-Mart and I buy a cool game called Stronghold 2. The rest of the day I'm read the booklet-thingummy. xp Well, that night we played Yatzee again. And again I lose.
Sunday rolls around and we plan on going on a Safari. FUN! We also get to feed the animals.
I almost got my hand ripped off by one of the ostriges. The staff said "Throw the food out of the car and keep all hands and arms inside at all times," but never mentioned anything about the animals coming in. xd
Here's a list of the animals we saw, in the drive-though part:
Lots of deer
Some camels
A lion
Two tigers
A few llamas
Two giraffes
Some boars
Some buffilo
Some water buffilo
A rinosirious
Lots of mooses
And ostriges
There was also a walk-through place.
There were:
Hyenas
Ligers
Wolves
Bears
Turtles
Roudy (and showy) peacocks
Leamers
Parots
And more boars (Who knew the babis were tiny and white with orange strippes! Or is it orange with white stripes...)
There's probably more, but I can't remember them.
We ame home after lunch and played some card games. Well, let's just say my dad beat me in gin rumy, like I knew he would. But when we played regular rumy... Boo yeah! The ending scores where:
Me- 515
Mom- 300
And dad (king of games as I call him)- 185
He was actully in the hole a few times. So now I've got bragging rights 'till next time.
Well nothing else happened until Monday, when we went to Warm Springs and the 'Little White House'. Boring... No offence to anybody, but I'm a Republican and this place is like a Democrat headquarters sort of thing. It was horrid for a 'red-neck' Republican like me. It was kinda cool to learn about the polio stuff, but I didn't need a history on how all this Democrat stuff got started. Well, other than that it was okay. Kinda neat to see the house he lived in.
After that it was a long trip home. So that ends my overly long journal entry. If anyone's interested in seeing some pictures or that video, leave a comment.

PS. Z. V., of course, is pretending nothing happen... 'Cause Thursday I asked (I'm an idiot) if A. C. had said anything on the way home. He asked, "Say what about what?" So of course I change subjects.

PPS. I found out recently that our drummer in band is going to public school next year. Which means Z. V.'s going to be pestering me into playing drums again... Someone save me!
