The Trip Itself:
That was way too much fun to be healthy. xD We left on Wednesday afternoon, after much panic and general mayhem. The trip started out fun, because we were all happy little music geeks. After a few hours though, we were tired of being on a bus, even a beautiful coach bus. = 3=;; We got to dinner early, so the restaurant we went to wasn't ready for us, but it wasn't their fault. But it still took an amazingly long time to get our food. We were joking around that we'd be stuck there until eight o' clock, and we'd end up singing karaoke. But it didn't end up being too bad overall.
After that, we got back on the road and drove for a real long time. I mean, a real long time. :0 The night was boring, except for the part where Carrie met some beautiful South Carolinean boys. xD Boy-watching was one of our pastimes on the trip; it kept us from killing each other. We went to the Golden Corral for breakfast the next morning, after driving all night. It was wicked good, and we laughed a lot again. And Carrie contemplated stealing the steak sauce that was on our table (for reasons unknown to us, since it was breakfast time. xD )
After that, we went to the Kennedy Space Center. We got to have lunch with an astronaut! oAo;; It was cool. And we (Carrie and Claire and I) did this little "interactive" thing involving robots. (It was just us and our chaperones because Nao-chan was off being lovey-dovey with her boo.) We kind of scared off the people who were going through it with us, and it spiralled downwards from there.
Then we went to the beach. It wasn't so much fun for me because my bathing suit was in my luggage, under the bus, but I still had some fun. Then we had a sort of barbeque, and then we went to the nearby Ron Jon's. I got a necklace (Carrie and Claire call it my shank), and a pair of sunglasses that broke five minutes after I got them. That sort of pissed me off, but I was happy again when we got to our hotel, which was amazing, even though there was a picture of a skank on our wall. xDD
The next day, we went to the Magic Kingdom and had loads of fun~ We went on Space Mountain, and I nearly hyperventilated because I was laughing so hard at Claire. We also went on Big Thunder Mountain, and the teacup ride, which was sooo much fun. xD We saw a parade, but I missed seeing Mickey Mouse. ;___; And then we all started hating life right around when we had to leave because we couldn't get coordinated enough to get to the damned monorail. D: But then we were being spazzes on the monorail, and then we saw a rather cute guy with a shirt that said "I love spandex" on it. So we felt better when we came back to the hotel. Then Nao-chan went off to play mini golf with her boo, and we got mad at her, so we decorated our room with her clothes. It was nice. xDD
And yesterday, we woke up and went to the Golden Corral (a different one), and Carrie actually did steal the steak sauce. Then we went to the Universal Islands of Adventure, and we rode on the Spiderman ride, and it was wicked awesome. And we went on the Jurassic Park river ride, something, something. And we talked with Edwin from Puerto Rico (he worked there), who was gorgeous, and Carrie wanted to ask him what time he got his coffee break. xD A little while after that, I realized that I'd lost my cell phone somewhere along the line, so Nao-chan's mom helped me backtrack and see if we could find it. We didn't, but I have the number to call the lost and found! And I got an icee. I loooove Nao-chan's mom. <333
So anyway, then we went and did our music thing, and we went out to the Hard Rock Cafe. It was way fun. Carrie and Claire and I were rocking out while we waited to go inside, and then we (Carrie, Claire, Nao, and I) were kicking a** just like our host told us to. :3 Our waitress was named Sarah, and we got her to sing an Aerosmith medley for us. It was freaking amazing. xDD Then we hopped on a bus to go to Old Town, which was also quite fun. (We decided we want to live in Florida when we grow up. :3 ) And then was the awards ceremony, which wasn't as cool as wandering around in Old Town. And then we got on the bus and left.
The only other fun thing to describe was stopping at the Cracker Barrel, where we got to keep our bottles of syrup from breakfast, and the sweet South Carolina ladies took really good care of us. > 3<;; They were sooo nice. <333
And then we drove some more, and now here we are! =D It was an amazing weekend. One journal entry could not do it justice. x0;;
