The long forgotten lore of my life
When I feel like it I'll update with my thoughts, views, nonsensical ramblings or events. Just another look into my chaotic enough life. I never know what's going to happen.
My Spidey Sense is tingling!
Sunday, May 06:

First of all, this happened last night. Why am I writing about it today? Uh... just keep reading. It'll become apparent.

It's quite common for my friend Allie to "kidnap" me. Although, I must admit, last night even surprised me. At around 5 I got a call just as I was about to make my BLT supper (burnt bacon, my favorite!!!). Well, of course it was Allie. She was bored. Her suggestion? Her kidnapping of me to see the new Spiderman 3 movie.

So, safe to say, we ended up at the theater sometime around 8. The movie wasn't until 9:10 (and it was sold out shortly afterwards), so we had plenty of time to kill. We spent some time staring at this movie poster they have outside the theater. We were staring at it in horror (despite our laughter). If anyone has ever seen the Balls of Fury (comedy, tennis movie) poster, yeah, you'll get it. She took a picture of it on her cellphone and sent it back to her mom in a message.

To kill some time, we moved to the claw machine. Allie is the MASTER of claw machines. No, I'm serious. She sees a plushie she wants, she GETS it. She's that good. She won herself a black Spiderman doll, and I decided to go for a plain one to be the good guy of the two. I saw one in the back I could get, and noticed something was wrong with it's face. Now I really wanted it.

I never knew how funny Spiderman looked like when his head was sewn on sideways. I mean, dear god! He's a reject, and I love him! I can't stop laughing! He was the butt end of the jokes all night. Wonder what I could get for the sucker on E-bay? (Allie took a picture of this, too. The reject Spidey's face now graces her cell phone's background)

I digress. Anyone going to see the movie, you'll LOVE it. The ending... uh... sucked, but the rest of the movie was good. However, young kiddies should NOT see this. The action (and some fight/death moments) are pretty graphic. Hobgoblin's face was friggin' MELTED at one point. Yeah. Oh, and it's a comedy! WHO KNEW! But the scene of Peter Parker dancing- oh, god, it'll scar you for life. A geek dancing like that? NOOOOOOO!

I got home at 12:26, and went to bed somewhere around 1:30. YEAH! Staying up late with a reject Spidey plushie!!! Last night was friggin' awesome!!

heart Peace out, ya'll! heart

P.S: During one kissing scene between Mary Jane and Harry Osborn, a random guy in the back of the theater gasped and said loud enough for most to hear, "b***h!". Everyone around who heard that cracked up. I applauded the man, and so did Allie. Ohhh yeah. Last night was great.
