Attitude/Personality: the scatterbrained but brilliant type- he's likely to wander out in a fancy robe and come back w/it destroyed, feathers in his hair (which would be half-pulled out of its ponytail); usually happy; often serious/studious; very often zoned out; only angry when someone's messing w/his loved ones
Outfits:You can choose from one of the outfits he has on, or make up one (as he doesn't really have anything too definite at this point). His outfits are flexible; anything medieval (or maybe renaissance) works. He favors plain white or black shirts w/puffy sleeves, usually with ties at the chest (that are typically only half done up due to carelessness) and breeches. He sometimes has to wear fancy court mage robes (black and gold; design varies). He always has some sort of boots on; they can be fancy or plain. You can pick out of what’s there, draw it exactly or tweak it some or make your own. If you’ve seen Howl’s Moving Castle, he’s likely to wear the same shirts Howl wears.
Color scheme: He favors neutral colors- black, brown, and white, though he might be forced to wear something with a bit of color to it (probably scarlet/reds). His main colors are black and gold for fancy clothes.
Pose ideas: standing at the top of a tower, arms on the wall, staring off into space; either brooding, blank or happy; sitting in a library reading; happy, excited and disheveled due to experimenting w/magic; staring at his hands (wondering at his powers); intense/snarling/angry using magic to defend a loved one
Relationships: Starts off being Sumara's teacher, ends up her lover.
Sumara
Race: elvish
Occupation: interdimensional traveler
Height: 5’8” (or just barely up to Nu-maar’s chin)
Eyes: purple
Hair: black; comes about 4 or 5 inches past shoulder (to about the armpit), worn straight and down
Complexion: average (not pale, but not tanned)
Body type: tall but average build (ie, not skinny/lean; think Tolkien's Lord of the Rings elves)
Ears: pointy; short as a child, long as an adult
Age: anywhere from a child up to 21 (after that she doesn’t age much physically, being an elf; note- she’s 7 years younger than Nu-maar, and doesn’t meet him until she’s 14; isn’t really in love with him until she’s 18-21)
Attitude/Personality: Quite the optimist. Almost always happy and cheerful. Has a brief time around 14 when she becomes very introverted, especially towards men (had an incident on her 14th birthday where a drunk human chased her down an alley, causing to to transport herself away from her elvish home world). She’s the type that wears her emotions on her sleeve, so you can always tell if she’s anxious or worried, happy, sad, confused, upset, etc. She’s very powerful, both magic and physically, though it doesn’t show, and is very protective of the people she loves.
Outfits: Very fantasy-esque. She has several outfits, as she travels to several worlds, though the outfits don’t always fit in (as she like to wear certain ones regardless). She does have a few sets of “normal, modern human clothes”, as well as some nice elvish gowns. She’ll also wear whatever fits the world she’s in, but typically is drawn in the more fantasy outfits. She hates wearing anything too fancy or dressy, so she tries for the plainest dresses and tries to avoid jewelry or putting up her hair in fancy styles, though she does get forced into such situations. Her tops usually have a sort of loincloth to them (though she usually wears something under them), and she typically wears brown leather boots. There are certain outfits she wears only as a kid, and others as an adult, so just watch the age she is in the drawings. If you’re not sure (it looks sort of pre-teen-ish), it’s probably an adult outfit, but feel free to ask.
Color scheme: Green, black, and gold is her main set (silver only if she needs it; usually too fancy for everyday wear). The green is usually either a mid green or a darker green. Secondary colors: browns (almost always for boots and belt; doesn’t work if there’s too much black), silver (works better with darker greens, gold usually for middle greens). Also would wear other colors such as purple, blue, or red for gowns/dresses/special occasions (usually middle to darker; pastels maybe for elvish dresses).
Relationships: Nu-maar’s student and eventual lover. Illisar’s sister.
Illisar Malarien
Race: elvish
Occupation: none; in the modern world, he’s a student, and in the elvish world, they don’t really have jobs (though he’s become a bit of a musician- he plays the flute, though he seems to be able to pick up most instruments easily)
Height: 6’2”
Eyes: green
Hair: golden blonde; worn short- it just touches his eyebrows and goes down past his ears a bit
Complexion: pale to mid-tone caucasian
Body type: tall, but average body build; he has some lean muscles too
Age: 2 years older than Sumara; in the story, he’s usually around 16-20
Attitude/Personality: Similar to Sumara’s. Happy, outgoing, and social. He’s basically the “cool rich kid that everyone likes”. Unlike Sumara though, he tends to hide his more negative feelings, so people who don’t know him well won’t know if something’s wrong.
Outfits: Simple, but elegant. He tends to wear nicer clothing, as he was raised rich, but he doesn’t like to flaunt it. He especially likes silk. His clothing is mostly modern or fantasy-esque (seeing as those are the two worlds he inhabited, at different times).
Color scheme: Bright colors, mostly. He likes greens best, but he’ll also wear blues and reds a lot. Usually he leans towards earthy colors for his everyday clothes, where his nicer ones are usually colors that stand out more.
Pose ideas: wondering through the woods, sitting under or in a tree, roaming the streets of a modern town, playing the flute

Aurora de Silva
Race: Star elemental (still pending)
Occupation: none
Eyes: Silver or light grey
Hair: Brown; comes about an inch or so below her ears.
Complexion: light to pastel blue
Ears: Pointy. Short as a child, long as an adult.
Body type: average
Age: anywhere from a child (10ish) to an adult (28 or so)
Attitude/Personality: She's a happy sort, and an a sky elemental to boot. She’s happiest when floating around or sitting in a high place (especially among/above the clouds). She likes night more than day because of the stars. If she’s not happy, she’s probably staring off thoughtfully or confused about something.
Outfits: Her puffy shorts (any of them) should come to only about halfway to her knees, and the urn shorts should be two shades of blue instead of blue and green. If you draw down to her feet on any that have black leggings but no shoes, please make her leggings stirrup pants. Like this.
Color scheme: Blue, black, and silver. Occasionally gold, and white often goes with silver.
Pose ideas: Sitting up someplace high; and/or surrounded by clouds or stars.
