Lambda Corp.
Welcome, to the land of Lambda, where human are safe and others, well, lets just say there being 'taken care of'.
To the Trans-Human arm of Sector Nineteen Lambda Corp.

I have been asked to say a few words to the trans-human arm of Sector Nineteen Lambda, concerning recent successes in containing members of the resistance Neko Team.

Let me say up front that I regret having to temper my heartfelt congratulations with a strong measure of disappointment. But I wouldn't be doing my duty as your Administrator if I didn't pass along the message I have received from our Benefactors.
The capture of Apphy is an event of major significance, make no mistake. And while it's true that conceivably we could have taken her at almost any time in the last several years, the manner of her capture may prove to have unexpected benefits.

It cannot have gone unnoticed by all resistance members that Apphy’s capture coincided with the act of giving shelter to Kitt. This might cause other resistance members to think twice before harboring Kitt. It might cause them to question her allegiance; even prompt some to turn her out, or turn her over to our cause. However, we cannot count on such developments. kitt reputation is such that other desperate renegades are likely to grant her a great deal of license in the spirit of spreading general chaos and terror.

This brings me to the one note of disappointment I must echo from our Benefactors. Obviously I am not on the ground to closely command or second-guess the dedicated forces of Lambda, but this does not mean I can shirk responsibility for recent lapses and even outright failures on their part. I have been severely questioned about these shortcomings, and now must put the question to you: How could one Neko have slipped through your force's fingers, time and time again? How is it possible? This is not some agent provocateur or highly trained assassin we are discussing. Kitt is just a simple Neko who is just the same as every one of those creatures, living in Sector Nineteen.

I have good reason to believe that in the intervening years, she was in a state that precluded further development of covert skills. The girl you have consistently failed to slow, let alone capture, is by all standards simply that--an ordinary Neko-girls. How can you have failed to apprehend her? Well...I will leave the upbraiding for another time, to the extent it proves necessary. Now is the moment to redeem yourselves.

If the trans-human forces are to prove themselves an indispensable augmentation to the Lambda Corp., they will have to earn the privilege. I'm sure I don't have to remind you that the alternative, if you can call it that, is total extinction - in union with all the other unworthy branches of the species. Let's not allow it to come to that. I have done my best to convince our Benefactors that you are the finest the species has to offer. So far they have accepted my argument, but without concrete evidence to back it up, my words sound increasingly hollow even to me. The burden of proof is on you. As is the consequence of failure. I'll just leave it at that.

Humans and Nekos

Welcome, to the World of Lambda Corporation. We hope you enjoy your stay on earth, because if you don’t survive from what this planet has to offer, we’ll have to put your life and memories onto a Personality core. To start, we need to Enter your personal data and inject some chemical into you that will benefit you in the future while working for us.

Now, lets tell you more about us. We were created for the future protection of the Human race, so that the Human race will not go instinct by all means necessary. We have captured a city of Nekos and transferred the entire species population into 1 area, also known as City-19.

Let me read a letter I have recently received from the Neko Species.

Dear Lambda corp.,
Why has the Human race seem fit to suppress our reproductive cycle?
Sincerely, a concerned Neko.

Thank you for writing, concerned. Of course, your question touches on one of the basic biological impulses. With all it’s associated hopes and fear for the future of the Neko species. I also detect some unspoken questions:

Do our benefactors really know what’s best for us?
What gives them the right to make this kind of decision for the Neko species?
Will they ever deactivate the suppression field and let is breed again?

Allow me to address the anxieties underlying your concerns, Rather than try to answer every possible question you might have left unvoiced.

First, let us consider the fact that the first time ever, as a species, immortality is in our reach. This simple fact has far reaching implications. It requires radical rethinking, and revision of our genetic imperatives. It also requires planning, and forethought that run in direct opposition to our neural presets.

I find it helpful at times like these to remind myself that our true enemy is . . The NEKO population.

It was true the Nekos were our mother when we were an infant species. The Nekos cuddles us and kept us safe in those hardscrabble years when we hardened our sticks and cooked our first meals above a meager fire. And started at the shadow that leapt upon the caverns walls. But inseparable from Nekos Species is it’s Dark twin, the Dragons. The nekos are inextricably bound to unreasoning impulses. And today, we clearly see it’s true nature. The Nekos have just become aware of it’s irrelevance and like a cornered beast, it will not go down without a BLOODY fight. The Nekos would inflict a fatal injury on our species. The Nekos create their own oppressors, and bids us rise up against them. The Neko Species tells us that the unknown is a threat, rather than an opportunity. The Nekos slyly and covertly compels us away from change and progress. Nekos, therefore, must be expunged. It must be fought tooth and nail, beginning with the basest of Neko urges:

The urge to reproduce.

The Nekos should thank our benefactors for giving them respite from this overpowering force. They have thrown a switch and exercised their demons in a single stroke. They have given us the strength we could have never summoned to overcome the Neko population. They have given us purpose, they have turned our eyes toward the stars.

Let me assure you that the Suppression field will be shut off on the day that the Neko species have mastered their selves. The day they prove they no longer need it. And on that day of transformation, I have it on good authority, is close at hand.
