A lot of people claiming to be "hardcore fans" of the UFC hate on Brock because he started off as a pro wrestler, something that to a lot of people is synonymous with "Muscle bound idiot wearing spandex and pretending to be a fighter." I'm personally looking forward to the upcoming fight between Brock and Velasquez because Velasquez is a veteran and a force of nature. Whichever one wins it's sure to be a good fight, but if Brock wins he'll finally start getting the respect he deserves as the great fighter that he is because no one will be able to deny that he's all UFC now. If Velasquez wins then he'll get mad props for dethroning Brock, and I'm sure that everyone will want to get a piece of him and there'll be tons of good matchups after that. So I'm Stoked!
