RP BIO
Standing modestly just short six feet is an eccentric black-clad Breton with a reticent demeanor that would tower beyond his physical form, evermore immodest and entitled in attitude and tone. With a luminous clutch of magic left in hand and a sword in the right -while considerably capable with both- Ethos is safely presumed a Spellsword, adorned in heavy dark armor with a spell caster's robe lain over-neath. (face description.) little more is forfeit behind previous black veil of thick dark leathered cloak and hood draped around his person, save the eyes.
Thoroughly and through to the farthest far horizon, sharp eyes gaze awake yet inert -alive with death- a physical stare fixed on figurative thoughts, thoughts from a place of perspective upon which all speculation is possible. This relates to his prime interest in the arcane; his command over the school of Illusion, where he may revel in his intrigue for the vast and haunting complexities that defines perception, reality, and the nature of Illusion magic itself. For more practical in combat application of magicka, flame would be his preference of the three elements of destruction, though he would grin wide at the opportunity to drain and siphon the energy, magicka and life of his opponents; to watch their will collapse, physically exhausting them literally to the point of defenselessness, consequentially exposing them metaphorically for the weakness he regards most everything to ultimately be, before the mercy of his blade.
His chief motivations are driven from his politics. The depraved and twisted remnants of a lost humanity has revealed itself to him as a threat to all life, with no salvation short of Armageddon. He has taken upon himself therefor the divine duty to interfere with and kill the blasphemous and irreverent fallacious cultural devolution of malignant civilizations; death upon death, wound upon wound, of those ripe and rotten with decadence and degradation, whom with their very existence would threaten and devalue the quality of life itself. In acting out these extremist and radical political beliefs of his, he will at the very least disassociate himself with most all things, more often openly condemn them for the weakness he perceives them to be, and at the pinnacle of his devotion when it may be afforded; death may be considered the true and necessary mercy to most all life, and even the most cruel behaviors and merciless murders can be justified as upholding the highest integrity and best intentions of prosperity for the future to us all. Though while he may be able to justify his actions, local customs and authorities seem not to appreciate these zealous and homicidal tendencies, so in the interest of self preservation, his more fatal practices are reserved for only the most opportune moments.
"The men and women of High Rock were once ruled by High Elf overlords. Some Elven blood still runs in their veins, giving Bretons an innate grasp of magic that distinguishes them from the other human races. Passionate and flamboyant (definition flamboyant: tending to attract attention because of their exuberance, confidence, and stylishness.), intelligent and resourceful, the Bretons are renowned and talented craftsmen, shrewd merchants, gallant cavaliers, and inventive wizards. They can also be proud and quarrelsome. Tales of warfare between the kingdoms of High Rock account for much of their history, but most revere the Nine Divines and value prosperity over glory."
"Bretons are the human descendants of the Aldmeri-Nedic Manmer of the Merethic Era and are now the inhabitants of the province of High Rock. They are united in culture and language, even though they are divided politically, for High Rock is a factious region. Bretons make up the peasantry, soldiery, and magical elite of the feudal kingdoms that compete for power. Many are capable mages with innate resistance to magicka. They are known for a proficiency in abstract thinking and unique customs. Bretons appear, by and large, much like other pale-skinned humans. They are usually slight of build and not as muscular as Nords or Redguards. Their Elvish ancestry is usually only detectable upon a closer inspection of their eyebrows, ears, or high cheekbones, though many individual Bretons appear to be more Nordic or Imperial than anything else. The great diversity in their appearance is to be expected from their politically fractured society, though their clothes, accents, customs and names are fairly uniform." These following quotes are evidence to the lore accuracy to my RP character description.
"Innate Grasp of Magic", "Capable Mages": My character is a capable Spellsword, this would explain the magic part.
"Passionate and Flamboyant, Intelligent... ... can also be proud": Now I can sate my ego and blame it on RPing true to the lore of my race.
"Human Descendants", "Bretons Appear, By and Large, Much like Other Pale-Skinned Humans.": Because no one wants to be an actual elf. Here's how I can justify my humanity.
"Divided Politically": This can explain my cynical and misanthropic extremist political ideals and how they will differ from most other people.
"Proficiency in Abstract Thinking and Unique Customs": This can justify why I am such a weirdo, or in other words, a grounds as to why I think so differently than most people.
"The Skyrim Conquests brought much of High Rock under the control of the Nords around 1E 246, though they would lose control around 1E 369...", "Elvish ancestry is usually only detectable upon a closer inspection of their eyebrows, ears, or high cheekbones, though many individual Bretons appear to be more Nordic or Imperial than anything else.": This Explains his Nordic Attributes, and how he looks more like a man than a p***y.
