love cannot stain this heart
for i have kept it hidden
locked away, torn apart
from this world's gaze.
would it matter which i chose?
if my heart was numb or had froze?
i think it would be for the best;
to get rid of that little pest
which we call pain.
i find it a shame
to let my emotions waste away
on a petty whim.
give me immunity
and cast away my tears
or let them freeze.
i may seem different
but i am free,
for no strings hold me!
