Many nights I lie awake,
Just waiting for the dawn to break.
Wanting the day to go on,
So I can be with you once more.
You are the fish in my oceans,
And the birds in my skies.
I am the ground beneath your feet,
and the whispers in the wind guarding you always.
Love is but a gift from God,
Only given to very few hearts.
But some do what they can to make it work,
And their hearts become one.
They tell us "Love is for the married"
I agree, but true love is found before.
Two hearts made one is from the love they share,
And the love will last forever.

May we discover through pain and torment,
the strength to live with grace and humor.
May we discover through doubt and anguish,
the strength to live with dignity and holiness.
May we discover through suffering and fear,
the strength to move toward healing.
May it come to pass that we be restored to health and to vigor.
May Life grant us wellness of body, spirit, and mind.
And if this cannot be so, may we find in this transformation and passage
moments of meaning, opportunities for love
and the deep and gracious calm that comes
when we allow ourselves to move on.

Lord, put courage into my heart, and take away all that may hinder me serving you.
Free my tongue to proclaim your goodness, that all may understand me.
Give me friends to advise and help me, that by working together our efforts may bear abundant fruit.
And, above all, let me constantly remember that all my actions are in vain unless they are guided by your hand.
