Biography:
Adolph Garrett Rayner is the only son of adventurers Michael Rayner (UK) and Emilia Eisenberg (Austria), two of the founders of Veritas: a secret organisation whose purpose is to neutralise supernatural threats. Adolph became the youngest operating agent of Veritas at age 14, often entrusted with high-priority missions.
On April 3rd 1870, founding member of the Veritas, Dmitri Volkov (Russia), betrayed the organisation in order to acquire The Eye - Veritas' most closely guarded artefact, in the hopes of attaining immortality. He and his men slaughtered the Veritas agents and set the main building afire.
On returning from a mission, Adolph met the place in flames and Dmitri and his men fleeing from the scene.
Filled with revenge, he vowed to become more powerful to defeat Dmitri and avenge the deaths of his family and friends
Powers & Abilities:
Skilled Martial Artist and Swordsman - Adolph has a natural talent for fighting and is very proficient with the sword. He wields Lacrimosa, his father's sword.
Pyrokinesis - Adolph can generate and control blue flames from his body (usually from his hands). He is immune to the effects of flames he generated himself, however he can be harmed by flames other than his.
