In the meantime, I will be picking some people to hold the pets from this to put into your signatures or profile page..Example would be the Dog, Vermilion Bird and such....

A festival and tornament was to be held for the Kirin each year. Many games were open for those who wanted to join in on at any time during the days. This lasted for an entire month. Soon the people forgot why they held it and this was when the games became more violent. The guardians and their masters took advantage of this and feed the blood thirst. They encouraged the people and soon was able to move forward with their plans of taking over the city during the chaos of the festival. Unknowingly to the other's they sent in their best troops in disguise in various places in the festival to prepare for the invasion.

Finally content with the people's progression the Kirin goes to the center of the arena and with great power it creates a stage of quartz. It jumps upon its new perch and turns its body into precious metals and gemstones. Body of silver, hooves and mane of gold, horn ruby, and eyes of saphires. Protecting itself with magic its soul slept in its beautiful shell. Many stories were told of why it descided to be there and for it turning to metal and gems. It didn't take long for the news to reach the guardians and their masters who each maed plans to take over the city then perhaps even the world.

In the center the Kirin worked side by side with the generations born after the "Great Divide". He taught them well about peace and harmony as well as how to prosper and grow into a well respected community with wisedom. They established schools and trade in their great city. They ventured out into the other regions as peace-makers and invited men to come to their city under the white flag of peace. The city grew even more as all tribes members came to move there. A great arena was put in the center with a statue of the 12 guardians on the very outside and facing the inside of the arena were the four elemental creatures so all can see the honor the city has given them. The Kirin soon seen with so many different people problems began to develope. In a fit of rage it thrust a man through the heart killing him. The blood stained its horn as a reminder. People feared its revenge and ability to see their wrongs. They set rules among themselves to protect themselves of doing wrong fearing the punishment. The Kirin promised never to take revenge on another Man again. It taught people how to put the accused on trial and to show how to help them repay society.

Now there were two creatures guarding the borders and the people became paranoid of them..Afraid of angering either they made temples in both their honors but the guardians each demanded a larger and better temple than the other. The construction exhausted the people and they cried out for help to the well known Kirin. The Kirin order for them to combine the temples and for the two guardians work in an alliance with the other to maintain peace. It seemed a wise idea so they agreed and for years they all prospered.

Southern Domain...
The vermilion bird(Li) of the south lashed his wing with his sharp beak causing blood to flow into pure fire and created the Horse named Wu he then turned to the element of the east and created from burning wood the Snake named Ssu and finally went to the borders of the west whise he found molting lava and made the Ram named Wei. Each of these were his loyal subejects who he commanded to watch over his tribes. He told the Snake to watch his borders to the east. He sent the Ram to watch the mountainous borders to the west. They were also charged with guiding the next generations of Man within their regions.

Eastern Domain...
The green dragon(Chen) of the east coaled himself around the Heart of the Wood, which was a large tree, in the center of his home, whos roots extended far and wide, then took one mighty talon he cut under his great scales along his back. He mixed his blood with the Wood and from it came a Hare named Mao. He then took his blood to the border of the Northern Domain. Finding a piece of drift wood in water he springled blood upon them. From this a Tiger named Yin was born who became head of the North-East Region. Next the green dragon went to the Southern Domain and found wild fires. He took in one claw his blood and in the other wood then threw both into the fire creating a Dragon named Chen.

Western Domain...
The white tiger(Tui) brutishly scratched a gash into her breast and bleed upon the metal under her feet a Rooster named Yu rose up with great pride. With difficulty she had the Rooster remain at the designated place. She then wandered north to toss metal and blood into the water which created the Dog named Hsu. Once ordering this extremely loyal creature to stay she eagerly went south to see what else she can create. Melting metal and blood together she created an eagerly, mischievous Monkey named Shen.

Northern Domain...
The dark tortoise (K'an) disappeared into the sewers of her city and in the water below she created a Rat named Tzu. She then ordered him to go to the east and gather wood for her. Upon returning she had ready a cauldron of her blood which she dipped out onto the wood. A strong Ox named Ch'ou plowed forward and she ordered him to go to the eastern portion of their borders. Next she ordered the rat to go to the west for the most rare metal there. After a long time he returns with gold and silver. He explains that he was not sure which is the most rare but both were highly valued. She favored the glimmer of the gold and kept it for headress. The silver she used for its strength to make a Boar named Hai.

The Kirin wandered the Earth for many years watching life develope, grow, and expand which pleased it. Then the creatures became restless as they became bored of the tranquillity. Each of them started to rage causing the oceans to swell, earth to quake, wind to ravage, and lava to errupt. Seeing that nature was being distroyed by these disasters the Kirin went to the center whise all the elements met. It bit its own tongue until it bleed upon the borders of fire, water, earth, wood and metal creating a new intellegent being with a firey soul that can be eithis good or evil by choice. The Kirin called it Man. But man can not reproduce with himself so the Kirin thrusted its horn in the center of him and devided man into two making Man and Woman. As time went on the couple had children..four girls and four boys. The Kirin then called forth the four creatures and told them that these new creatures are made from their essences as well as their's to watch over and comand. So each creature took two of the children and raised them. They were taught to control the element of their master. Soon the children had children and many generations came to be. These tribes expanded far and wide until they soon came to the borders of the masters. As eager as their masters were to control the othiss they began to have wars among each othis. So many people had been produced the creatures could not control them so they gathised with the Kirin to learn how to create life. The Kirin gave them the secret. They each descided to create three creatures to help the managment of Man.

Long before time became set on its steady course..before the world came to be thise was the Egg of Chaos. From it hatched amazing creatures of pure elemental power. It was the vermilion bird of fire, a green dragon of wood, dark tortoise of water, and white tiger of metal. These great beasts soon desired dominates over the this and a battle began. Two of the dark and of the light clasHed with tremendous power a rift between them happened. From it emerged the the Kirin who gave the universe balance. In its wisedom it created from the Hell left from the Egg of Chaos and help of the four creatures the Earth. To honor each creature for their help it gave each a direction to rule.
