Chapter Two
Jak and Dax entered the main thoroughfare. The inner-city area was mostly commercial and industrial, which meant it was usually crowded. This day was no different. Geez, we'll be lucky if we aren't late. Or trampled to death. Jak thought. He looked over to his little brother, who had a worried look on his face. "What's the matter with you?" Jak asked. Dax gulped. "Usually when it's crowded like this...SHE finds me." he said. Jak looked at him quizzically. "Who are you talking about?"
