The bustling of the crowds was indeed a fascinating thing.
From an eerily quiet arena filled only with the cacophony of music to a room transformed by the explosion of applause once the opera was over; It changed the rooms' feel completely. The power of the spectators' applause truly was astounding. Admits all those who felt their spirits soar with the sound of this said applause, there was one who did not seem content. Above those backstage, scuttling about like ants within their hive, sat a hooded figure, dressed completely in black such a young man, atop the beams. Make no mistake though, for this was no man hidden from the gaze of onlookers. This was the one Called Night or to those close enough for her to allow them to call her as such, Nana. There was only one person who did call her any of those however, as the rest of the opera house were quite content just calling her, "The old hooded hag" or "The hooded one over there.". Safe to say she was not the most popular young one in the opera house. The reason why was rather simple, she was ugly. Or so the rumors only stated seeing as nobody truly verified it. They were all too scared to actually dare take a look at the supposedly ugly hag beneath the hood. After all, if she was not so ugly why would she hide her face so dearly? Despite that, she was a valued part of the opera house for her musical skill.
Indeed, Night was a flute player and her specialty was the pan flute which gave out the eerie but somethings paradisiac sound heard in the musical pieces. Of course it wasn't a solo instrument in operas such as violins nor harps but without it... Well something would be missing now, wouldn't it? As such her importance was minor... and that kept her safe from others. It also gave her the ability to look upon others and learn from their characters. It went without saying that she was a good psychologist for her age.

Even at this time, Night was staring down at the people bellow her. It was interesting to watch them and how they acted so differently as soon as the show was over and the curtains had been drawn. Kind smiles turned to ravenous anger, hugs turned into shoves as they made their way about… Truly, humans were an untrustworthy and deceiving race. She detested them and was glad this hood and rumor kept them from entering her personal bubble. Bien sur, there were those she did not reprimand, but they were few.
It was then that by sheer coincidence Night noticed one figure moving slightly differenty and soon enough was able to identify who it was, due to the appearance as well as the familiar movements. Conrad, the violinist within the opera house and one of the two people she could even consider a worthy "connaissance", was making his way backstage through the mass as he held to the walls. Night could never quite imagine how hard it must be for him to find his way, with all of this noise and only a wall to help him get by. She thought maybe for Christmas she might buy him a cane to make his pathfinding easier. She would have used it as an idea for a birthday present yet, she had no idea when his birthday was. He simply grunted or smirked whenever she had asked him, resulting in the halt of her questioning. She guessed there were those who didn't like birthdays, unlike a certain somebody she knew who burst into joyous song, well as much as she could, when one came around. Once more, it seemed that that person appeared as soon as her thoughts fell on her. Could these people tell she was thinking of them? It certainly seemed so!

In all honesty, Night had been avoiding genevieve for the last night and past day. Her sisterly figure was good at designing and making clothes, if only they were mens clothes! She kept making these colorful and graceful dresses and forced Nana, with an iron fist as aid, to try them on and even sometimes to wear them about once they left the opera! Oh the horror, oh the humiliation! Didn't she know wearing a dress was the equivalent to yelling out in town "I'm a free woman, come and get me!!" to the rabbits in heat, which were the french men? To Night, that was her own personal hell. Maybe that was why she was on these beams, maybe she was also subconsciously hiding from her now as she thought!
She would have kept quiet, she really would... until she saw the bricks left hanging around in Conrad's path, only a few steps away. The devil on her shoulder told her to leave the situation as was, but the angel atop her head was chewing away at her for such thoughts. So she decided on a compromise.

Leaning down, as far as she could above more or less where conrad was, she grabbed a piece of bread from her pocket (Don't ask how it got there! o.O ), rolled it into a ball and threw it at his head swiftly. He should probably be used to these fanatics by now, after all everybody knew of the sisterly trouble both of the young women got into. It was incessant...to say the least.
"Conrad! Pssssst! Conrad arrete! Ne bouge pas! (Conrad Stop! Do not move!) Stop!" She hissed at him as soundlessly as she possibly could. After all Genevieve was only a short distance away and if she was caught...Dear god no. Seeing that her message maybe didn't get through she continued however "Halt! Right in front of you! There is a bag of bricks! You bloody blind man- I said StoO- WHOAHH!
A crash echoed throughout the backstage. Most everybody turned to look at what had just occurred, only to see an amusing sight. The hooded figure had fallen sideways, getting one foot trapped in one of the hanging ropes around the beam she had been on and thus finding herself dangling upside down by her left foot. Her face still not being revealed thankfully, she looked at her "sister" of some sort from beneath it, an awkward smile plastered on her face.
"Oh...Uh hello genevieve! Fancy meeting you here! Quelle chance! (What luck!) Hahaha..." She began as she cleared her throat, Say, mind getting me down from here? I do believe the blood is beginning to rush to my head."
