MY LOVE'S WORDS
You have this power over me,
This undescribable, undeniable, unmistakable power.
You consume my mind.
You invade my thoughts.
You are the ruler of my dream world.
You bring a smile to my face,
A sparkle to my eyes,
And a tear to my cheek.
Your voice is like a sweet song,
I am hearing for the first time.
You take my breath away,
With the simplest things your lips utter.
You make me feel weightless,
As though I could float up,
And touch the heavens above.
You make me look at life through new eyes,
Eyes that have never seen the light of day,
Until now.
I feel as though I am using all my senses,
For the first time,
And suddenly everything I once knew,
Is now unfamiliar to me.
You fill every cell in my being,
With joy, love and happiness.
You make me want to stand up,
And scream at the top of my lungs,
"I love you, more than words could say."
You make my heart soar,
Like a bird in flight.
But most of all...
You are you, and I love that.
It is this intense power you have over me,
Which gives me strength, hope, and new meaning.
You are my sun, my moon, my evening star,
My light, my life, my love.
You are my destiny.
You are "The One",
The only one,
The girl I love.
As I write this poem for you,
It's as if this pen is an extension of my heart,
And my heart is guiding it across the paper.
Every letter, every word, every stroke,
Is meant to be.
like us.

A gentle word like a spark of light,
Illuminates my soul
And as each sound goes deeper,
It's YOU that makes me whole

Your caring heart keeps out the rain,

When I think of you and me,
there is nothing I wouldn't do.
But I stand by my word,
because there is nothing worse than a promise unkept.
So, it is with all of my heart,
my soul,
my everything,
with all my emotions,
and with a clear mind
that I make this promise to you.
I will always do everything in my power,
to keep our romance alive,
to keep the fire burning,
to be sure you know every day
exactly how I feel,
to never take you for granted
And to be there for you,
to be your best friend,
your lover,
your confidant,
your Angel,
everything that you need and want me to be.

Her radiant brown eyes
Always calm me and invite me
Her laugh brightens my day
and always makes me feel okay
From her head to her toe
I know I will always be with her
she is my true love.
She is the guiding light
in that of a dark night
She is the voice in my head
telling me right from wrong
She is there when no one else is
Giving me strength and courage
She stands by the choices I make
with encouragement she will give
She loves me with all her heart
And I love her so
She is the light in a dark world
guiding me to a future by her side
I will be there with her
till we grow old and die
She is my everything
my world my life
the morning breath I take
and the last thought before I sleep
I love her with all my soul
My heart is hers to have.

As I lay in bed at night
I lay in bed at night talking to you on the phone
we do the things lovers , talking about anything
and yet also everything, and when we finish
we don't finish at all, we remain until the next day
You call me a dork and I call you my vivi.
We talk on the phone our direct connection to one another
We falsely end the conversation only to have it rekindle again.
I lay in bed at night once the lines are closed
staring at the blank canvas of a ceiling
I paint a vivid picture of you and I
Just laying together do nothing.
I lay in bed at night, sinking into sleep
dreaming of me and you , dreaming of your touch
dreaming of how soft your skin
of how it would be to kiss you
I Lay in bed at night , dreaming of the first time we;ll meet
emotions flood my mind , of your loved ones accepting me
Or whether I'll be looked down on , on the basis of my skin
but none of that matters as long as I was with you my one true love

It's perfect, and touches me deep
First thing in the morning, when I hear you speak
And last thing at night as you bid me sweet dreams
The brush of your lips lets me know what you mean
And all of the hours that pass through the day
Those spent together and when you're away
I think of you always, imagine your touch
Think how to show you, I love you so much
So when we're apart, and you long for me near
Just try to remember, you're already here
For deep in my heart, where no one can see
You'll be forever, together we'll be

And the poplars whisper nightly,
It is to make me dream again
I hold you to me tightly.
And if the stars shine on the pond
And light its sombre shoal,
It is to quench my mind's despond
And flood with peace my soul.
And if the clouds their tresses part
And does the moon outblaze,
It is but to remind my heart
I long for you always.
