Well, it's that time again. That wonderful little time called Christmas. Since it's Christmas Eve, we gotta prepare for Christmas tomorrow. We brought out half the gifts, and I had to clean the Living Room so that they could fit on the table (which they didn't...relatives brought a lot of stuff this year). It wasn't that bad really...XD I actually kinda like cleaning sometimes. At least when it's as easy as the living room is sometimes.
But I'm really excited for Christmas. Namely because Shika's coming home from his Dad's. Not just that, but Kay'll get KH2 soon, and then we'll be able to play it. I don't know if I'll be able to though...I get nervous when I'm forced to translate for people. ^_^() That's just me.
However, Christmas is much calmer this year--namely because my stepdad isn't around anymore, and I can just spend time with the people that really matter to me. I don't need to deal with a man who I hated from the get-go hanging around when I didn't want him around to begin with (I was just nice about it for Mom's sake, because she did marry him--and it wasn't my choice anyway). This'll be the first Christmas in 13 years without him...I'm really excited for it actually. Does that sound so wrong?
But Sis is desperate to get her presents opened--she's always been the first person in the room on Christmas Day, running in to open gifts almost with an animalistic ferocity. I look at Christmas as more of a time to spend with friends, though I am happy when people give me gifts because people thought of me enough to give me something. Mom's the same way, too.
We're also having Duck this year, which is going to be interesting. Normally Mom makes Christmas Ham, but in this case she's making an exception. *_* Only Grandma really knows how to make it though, so we have to watch closely as she prepares it. XD 'Cause I wanna make Duck for Christmas too someday. ^_^
