So I'm finally in a big city, and guess what - we went to the movies! Ok, I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, but I haven't gone to the cinema for over 6 months. They don't have one in the city where I live, so this is it. It was great. A friend and I saw ''Busca de felicidad''...''the pursuit of happyness''.
I was a really good movie - but very sad. It had a happy ending though (I won't say what happens!) and Will Smith is an EXCELENT actor. I've always adored him. Him and Harrison Ford...lol. *sighs dreamily*. Haha, no worries, my boyfriend says Ford is sexy too, so I can't feel guilty for thinking so.

I'm off to Santiago for 2 weeks - I'm so excited! I've been living an a small southern city for the past 6 months, and I can't wait to see the capitol. Everyone says it's so great...and that the shopping's awesome! Oh, shopping. *sighs longingly* It's really too bad I'm so poor right now, but suich is the life of a student.
I was supposed to leave Saturday with a friend from here in Osorno, but she ended up leaving in the morning without me! Ahh! So now I'm looking forward to a 12 hour bus ride - sola.
So I guess I'm trying to say Chao for now...I'll be back in two weeks - not that anyone will miss me. *Sniff*
Oh, and since my last entry, I'm am feeling much more possitive about the whole ''love'' thing. Less scornfull anyway. I was having relationship ''issues''. Poor boy...so emotionally confused sometimes (not that I blame him)! And yet, so irresistable! Alright, I'll cut the mushy stuff. Not like anyone reads this anyway.

So...I'm feeling relatively pathetic. Just in time for St. Valentine's Day too. And by ''relatively'', I mean extrememly, though I suppose it's still relative to the situation. No offense to the saint, but did they have to make such a crappy holiday in commemoration? I mean, why can't it be like St. Patrick's Day? Everyone is happy about March 17th, and if they aren't, they can at least get drunk along with the rest of the celebrating population and forget about it for a night. Plus, green looks good on just about everyone.
But Valentine's Day - let's rub salt in the wound, shall we? I've honestly only gotten one valentine in my entire life. (The ones in elementary school don't count because the teacher MAKES everyone pretend they like eachother so no one feels left out. Half the kids still purposely missed my name on the class list though...bitches.) Anyway, I don't mean to sound bitter (alright, that's a lie,) and I hope everyone who has a reason to be is quite happy this 14th. I, however, don't plan on it. V-Day will probably find me on the sofa watching sappy movie marathons (dubbed in Spanish, of course), sipping herbal tea and feeling utterly sorry for myself.
Oh, and I'll be wearing green. And maybe black (none of that rediculous pink frilliness). Ah, the ******** with clothes - I'm staying in my PJs.
