I have never watched Sailor Moon, the closest I've gotten to a magical girl anime is winx club whch I haven't seen since I was young. I did see Madoka Magika but we can all agree that is something else....
Anyway, all I know about sailor moon is that the main character is blonde, gets her power from the moon, and the other girls get theirs from other planets. There used to be this city on the moon but something happened and the sailor sentei or whatever are reincarnations of them or something. I'd like to learn more, but I'll probably read about it in a fanfiction before I watch the show
